I'm kind of on the fence about VNs in general. See, I find stuff like the Fate/Stay Night prolouge on Youtube, and I'm all "Holy carp this is awesome and I should download everything for this right now"...aaand then I realize how damn long actually playing the stuff would take. As if anime and manga weren't sinking enough of my time already...

How long exactly?

^ Took me a couple of days to get all the routes + all the bad endings (I had to use a guide for the second, though).

I got 100% Completion in the span of 1 week, playing 6 hours from 12-6 am for 4 days and 12 hours for each of the other 3.

Y'know, that's not bad at all, really. I might just try to set that up whenever I'm not feeling half-asleep anymore, maybe get the Clannad VN going too.

Back on topic...Oh wow. I just discovered the "ALL ABOARD THE MAN TRAIN" meme. That's a Crowning Moment Of Funny right there.

Wait wait wait, Clannad is in another league. It took me two months to finish the game at 100% Completion. Granted, I only walkthroughed Misae's route, as well as After Story.

Most of the routes there are at least 7 hours long, assuming you don't skip anything.

As far as I know, it is the longest one to date. According to the good people who translated the game, the final SEEN.txt clocked in at around 65k lines, resulting in a 9MB text file. A 9MB text file.

So are we certain the little sister isn't getting an animated arc? I have to admit I dislike siscon and Not Blood Siblings storylines, as they seem to suffer from "seen one, seen 'em all" syndrome more than the alternatives.

We can't be certain since if we assume 4 episodes per girl, we have 2 episodes left over.

There's also going to be a 6-part OVA that comes with the DV Ds when they start shipping. And actually, incest isn't always the same shit. I should know.

^^For what it's worth, the series probably would handle it well enough. If they can get me hooked on Tsundere, I figure why not?

Just seen the first two episode. It's probably too soon to judge it, but so far I like it. .. no, that's not quite the right way to put it.

... Let me put it like that, it's the first romance anime I actually enjoy. Which is surprising since I thought I actually downloaded a time waster I would have laughed at a bad romance with some badly tacked on BSDM subtext (if you ask me why : I always expect the worst)... which by the way was there, while not in the quantities I was hoping for.

I even somehow put up with the mindraping-ly awful OP. Just for the first episode though, I don't think I'll ever find the courage to stomach that song again.

The BDSM subtext only starts going wild from the third episode onwards. Dear gods, the cafeteria scene...

I'm going to have to disagree with you regarding the OP. Though, as is my opinion with any not-in-English song, it could do without the Gratuitous English.
