A week or two ago, Man of Action were interviewed about their take on Mgea Man...

And mention the ever-so popular Fan Man and Shock Man.

Maybe they're OCs? :P

Should I know those names?

They PROBABLY meant Air Man and Spark Man, but, uh...

I'd fucking hope so.

Sentinal/4 inch nel is also making limited edition Dark-style figure of Hub and Jet/Power armor for Rock AND Cutman for their Mega Man figure lineup. There's also a prototype for X :D

Ordered Rock already, he has wwaaaaaaaaaay better articulation than Bandai's D-Arts figure.

So many permutations and yet it would take until the ninth game, released over a decade after the other eight, to get to Wo Man.

So a random thought:

Is Lan's family rich?

I've thought about it before, but his dad basically runs Sci-Labs doesn't he? So they should be pretty rich.

Lan's dad is a top scientist at Sci-Lab, but I'm fairly certain he's just an incredibly hard worker.

I imagine the Hikaris are pretty well off thanks to him, but not, like, Yai-size rich or anything.

Yeah Dr. Hikari is a well paid government worker and Lan is certainly well off but not to the level of Chaud or Yai.

So I decided to watch a Let's Play of Mega Man Legends. I think I'll go through all three games in the series. It'll be interesting to see to be honest.

It's technically four games. Legends 3 would have been the fifth.

What Legends 3?

So, do we blame Inafune for being Inafune, or Capcom?

I'm assuming we're blaming both sides.

Do people really count that mobile game?

Capcom.

There is no reason to assume that Inafune was the one who cancelled it since he left Capcom shortly after its announcement.

It's a game in the series so I don't see why not.

After Mighty No 9, I'd expect people to blame Inafune for the sky being cloudy before it rains.

I mean, with his current Fallen Creator status, it wouldn't surprise me if some start wonder if Capcom only cancelled the game to spite him, and that if he never left, it would have still been made.

Or maybe that he burned so many bridges at the company that they became determined to erase his influence completely.

But I admit that's just speculation.

Well you gotta remember that Legends was basically a very niche series, and Capcom might not have considered it worth the money to make it, especially if it's going to be bought by only a small dedicated fanbase. Plus, they were going through some pretty poor periods regarding their budgets.

People have thought that they cancelled it to spite him since day one.

So checking more of Legends. You know, why it doesn't seem great, the Voice Acting isn't bad for a Playstation era game.

Shame this never got some kind of remake. I bet it'd look great with some of the later system's graphics, to say nothing of fixing the issues with the camera and lock on.

But as noted before, it was kinda a niche title.

The second game fixes the lock-on but it also ups the difficulty somewhat since now the game expects you to circle strafe.

Been watching more Megaman Legends.

Man...it's so anime it hurts. Well, it doesn't hurt, but back then, it probably would have seemed a little odder. Now a days, a game seeming a lot like an anime is hardly a noticeable thing.

So I finished viewing Legends. It seems like a pretty short game (only 22 videos), but then again, of course a game will seem short when you aren't the one playing it.

Seemed pretty fun. It really is a shame it was so niche, and that Inafune never got a chance to finish it.

Gonna watch the same Youtube Channel for the misadventures of Tron Bonne and Legends 2 as well.

Might as well check out the entire thing.
