In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Has it actually changed or is this the 4chan thing? I remember hearing something about /b/ a while back and how "It was always best whenever you found it, and after a few months, it's always ruined by those damn new people turning it into something it wasn't supposed to be!"
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Iverum: I've posted in Forum Games. Hope I'm not counted in that hive. O_O
I'm fine with IJAM, because it seems to be meant for ego-stroking and general subjective stupidity.
Tobias: It has indeed actually changed. We used to be able to have discussions about serious topics such as religion, abortion, etc. without flaming, trolling, shitposting, and the like. And the conversations were actually well educated, as opposed to the "my mom says" kind of thing that goes on now.

Ecstasy is Sustained Intensity???
you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too crampedWell, thread was over before it started. Heehee.
How do you go for ego-stroking there, besides "I'M IN THE BEST 96% PERCENTILE IN THE NATION CUZ I'M AWESUM!!1"?

Anyways, shower now. Then haircut. I'll be gone for a couple of hours, likely.
^IJBM is "Thread about something I hate, and you all should hate it too", and people are all "No, you're DUMB!". IJAM is "Thread about something I love. Isn't it great?" and people are all "Yeah, this is awesome". The "don't like don't read" thing seems to work waaaaaay more with IJAM.

Ecstasy is Sustained IntensityIt was "almost artistic" in its badness.
my hands are cold
I don't know if this means that
- housing turned off the heat
- I got a cold yesterday
- MY HANDS ARE GOING COLD FROM FEAR
maybe I should eat something
survival of the tight-lippedEat something warm you can wrap your hands around, like a mug of soup.
I should do that. Dining hall closes by the time I'm done with the test anyway.
bye
survival of the tight-lippedIf you mean that IJAM thread about blam that spun off from Gushes, that was deliberately teasing blam for her embarrassed blushing anyway.
Making her go o////o was a pastime around here for a while.

No. That was not the post that I'm thinking of.
Evening tropes.
The snow doesn't seem too thick this time around.

READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!Grog's rage-quitting again? Nice.
Tiiiiiiiiiiiiired.
Aw, leave Grog alone.
What's wrong, Grog?
Yeah, well. I appreciate it but there's no need to make dumb threads the mods have to clean up after.
My dad made goose jerky. He makes wondrous jerky.
Pacific: I'm sorry. I only tried to see if I could help. Seems I expressed it wrong. My bad.
Goose jerky? First I'm hearing about poultry based jerky.
Trying to multitask here.
It's kinda hard.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!Expresed wrong? That seems more like teasing and all-around jerkassery, to be honest.
It's been described as being like /b/. I don't know if that's an accurate comparison, having only been there once, and seeing it through someone else's computer.
IJAM is no better, and contains the post I have deemed "the worst overall post on TV Tropes" in recent memory, at least. Only because it contains the heaviest concentration of sins with the least effort. Qualitively, it's got some stiff competition.
