In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

If I scroll up and down quickly, I feel like I'm jerking off the page.
That makes me really uncomfortable.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.You just know everyone who reads that post is going to try it.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyHoly shit. I leave for like 40 minutes and we're talking about masturbation again. >.>
dysfunctional human artistryWe knew you were coming back, Ive. It made us...excited.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3....again? We were before?
The Wild Mass Guessing namespace is the greatest one, also.
Went into IJBM, good mood is gone. Possibly forever.
The universe seems to be conspiring against me to keep me from watching this stupid CSI Miami Episode
Also, is it really necessary for Hulu to put so many adds per 43 minutes?
you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too crampedThere should be a popup disclaimer for IJBM. Something along the lines of "This is a terrible place, and you are a terrible person. The TV Tropes wiki and fora are not responsible for your mental health, though feel free to stop by the Angst thread if things get too bad."
Ecstasy is Sustained IntensityI totally agree, Solly.
Oh, by the way, I've decided to call you Solly.

dysfunctional human artistryIverum: Saw a bit from Farscape and come back to this? Wow.
Blam: Hey there, cutie.
We also need a similar warning for OTC that goes something like "WARNING: Some of these people will try to prove their penis is longer than yours."
It would be good, but I fear it'll make the IJBM crowd think they can get away with anythin' just because the mods have long since left them for dead.

Charles: That's going on your quote page.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection! They already get away with far too much. Bobby backed down from moving the jammies thread to where it belongs because they whined at him. >.> That bothered me.
dysfunctional human artistryWhat was the jammies thread?....
For the most part, the IJBM crowd already thinks they can get away with anything. And what they can't get away with, they can tiptoe around just enough to get the point across.
Ecstasy is Sustained IntensityHey Solly, did you watch any more?
And this is why I rarely leave Yack Fest, making me quite boring but I don't mind as long as I don't have to deal with CERTAIN PEOPLE.
I don't know what it was. I just know what it is now. A wretched hive that belongs in Forum Games. A psuedo-roleplay/troper updates for people who don't feel like they belong with yack festers.
The reason they think they can get away with anythin' is simply because they can.
Is the IJBM really that bad? I post in there from time to time. It doesn't seem like the horror of horrors people make it out to be.
Seconding about the jammies thread, though. It's basically "Yack Fest for people who think they're too cool for Yack Fest".

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Blammikins: Unfortunately, no. I plan on finishing the first season tonight.
^My main quarrel with IJBM is that I was around when it at least acted like it was intelligent, and topics were made for actual complaints, as opposed to ego stroking.

Ecstasy is Sustained IntensityThat is true, Solly. It's kind of strange that I've been around long enough to see it change.

Nah, for it to be Gainaxing, you'd have to scroll left and right in addition to up and down.
