In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Well, I wasn't as close to her as my sister was, or as close as I am to my own dogs. And her dog seemed pretty independent and liked to be by herself a lot.
I was at the vet until my sister got there. There was also this old blind chihuahua and this other younger dog with two broken legs that liked to chew on my fingers.
...as much as I love dogs, I probably won't be getting any more. They always make me so sad...

Going to a job interview today. Just going to work in a store, nothing new for me. A short train trip away. Trains, this is starting to become a theme in my life or something.
I wish I lived somewhere with commuter rail. Heck, the major city I'm currently living in (until tomorrow) only has two Amtrak trains a day. You can get on the train bound for Chicago at 5:something AM, or you can get on the train bound for New York at 8:something AM. They come back in the evening though.
Fresh-eyed movie blogGirl at work suddenly sprung it on my boss that she couldn't work tomorrow because she had a basketball tournament. Boss asked me if I can work her shift, and that evil little angel on my shoulder forced me to surrender my Sunday for her.
Fortunately my little devil wouldn't let me work her whole shift, but he's still peeved about giving in again. ;/ I told myself that I would stop volunteering my time to work.
I also said I'd try to stop flirting with high schoolers—if only they weren't so cute...
So my aunt and uncle are going to be moving back in with us for two reasons. 1. Uncle lost job and can't afford the house they rent anymore. 2. They were living with my other aunt and uncle and her family, and they were absolutely miserable. I have never met any family so full of hate and negativity before. Nice Aunt was so afraid to go back to Mean Aunt and company this evening that my mother had to give her anti-anxiety meds (mom is a pharmacist, she knows what she's doing).
So we'll be having two extra people and two extra dogs in our house for a while while Mean Aunt and company move back to Tennessee. Honestly, I don't even know why they moved out here. Well, actually I do, but that'd be getting into details I'd rather not discuss on a public forum. She treats us awful, that's all you need to know.
Blog linkMusic videos have finally found their Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff.
Doesn't hurt that the song is incredible, too.

Also, I just registered Webcomicry.com for my upcoming webcomics blog. That's probably the best domain I'll ever own.
Project progress: The Adroan (102k words), The Pigeon Witch, (40k). Done but in need of reworking: Yume Hime, (50k)Successful flirting or houngy bombardment, Keybreak?
Warning: This poster is known to the state of California to cause cancer. Cancer may not be available in your country.Neither. It's barely even flirting, it's just light teasing. And you can't really flirt with your coworkers anyway.
You so CAN, Keybreak. You CAN.
"Did you expect somebody else?"Most people can earn their co-workers respect and praise through coitus, or protocoitus.
Warning: This poster is known to the state of California to cause cancer. Cancer may not be available in your country.Man, nobody at work wanted my respect?
Fresh-eyed movie blog;p Well most of them are too young for me anyway. And not THAT cute.
Man, it's good to be back.
Also, two people acknowledged my avatar. owo
~PirkaWoo! Our mock trial may be cancelled because of the other group (the prosecution) not handing in their statement. Which means I'm saved from extra work and it's not my fault!
In other news, Final Fantasy VI is 20 years today! Which means, I may have an excuse to play FFVI early.
Today is shaping up to be a good day.

"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI've arrived at the apartment complex. Seen the apartment briefly, but I'm waiting for my agent to be finished with another deal right now. Also for the maintenance team to finish touchups.
Fresh-eyed movie blogWell, Tesla got banned from making direct sales in Michigan.
Why is this a thing that keeps happening?
dead devotionTrying to see if I can set up a network file server for my LAN. Not including standard package repositories on a new installation is some serious moon logic on the Debian team's part.
That's why I went for Fedora - it had what I needed, and didn't require much from there.
Ubuntu is just as good, too.
So I have to ask why you want to use Debian in the first place.

"Did you expect somebody else?"Old habits. At school we mostly use Debian for exercises.
Makes sense - Debian gets used for the same purposes here, although some do go for one of the BSDs as well - typically Open.
"Did you expect somebody else?"
My condolences.
