Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Yeah. Giving it serious consideration. Think I've very badly irritated all my breathing tubes.

Playing Final Fantasy II some more after not finishing it.

I'm so bad with RPG's! I start them and so often I don't finish them, though I want to. But they get so hard...

And it's been so long since I've played II that I've forgotten most of the story...which also happens a lot when I haven't played a game in so long.

Still fun though...I love how much stuff there is. Monsters, weapons, magic...still makes me just want to make my own RPG.

If only I had the time. And the focus.

You picked a hell of a game there, too. Final Fantasy II is notorious for being cruel.

When I was younger and had time I thought "Final Fantasy is sure popular. Maybe I should binge the whole series!"

So I got Dawn of Souls on Gameboy Advance (which is a compilation of the first two games) and Final Fantasy III on DS.

Played through the first (but apparently upgraded my classes too soon and I apparently couldn't level up my magic anymore...), got so far in the second but didn't finish, and barely even started the third because I thought "Agh, it's so much dungeon crawling..."

But I do still want to finish II. There's something nagging at me in my brain to finally end it. X|

Oh wow, that's a rough start. FF I is really solid, but II and II...mad props to you if you can finish them, man.

@Fluid: That's very true. A lot of the more fancy genuinely Asian recipes require some more expensive stuff than my usual "20 NOK per dinner"-plan can accommodate, but there are a lot of nice and simple combinations out there.

Labor Daybor note  weekend is a hectic time to work at a thrift shop - ridiculous amounts of donations coming in every day.

While looking in my room for something else, I found the ticket stub from my first ever concert - it was Aerosmith in 1997. I actually have a photo album I use to collect my concert ticket stubs in chronological order.

Just discovered a new "mom-ism" in conversation with my mom today - "hi-fi" note  instead of "wi-fi". Other prominent examples include "Intendo" (Nintendo) and "access-a-rare-ies" (Accessories).

Aaaaaaaaagh, stayed up past 6 in the morning playing Final Fantasy II. DX

I forgot how obsessive I can be about games.

Must go to bed. If anybody sees me in the fora, just punch me out.

The Synchtube Troper Coven is capping off Summer Break with Bradley's Summer and the wild story of his eight weeks befriending other kids with "a talent for getting into trouble with the police due to their over active imaginations", who form a "detective club" and unravel "a terrorist plot to blow up a bunch of important political figures at a private party". High-octane action and important life-changing experiences follow.

On second thought, perhaps that sounds more interesting than it actually is. But what do you expect from a "serialized full length film" made by kids?

Went to bookstore. Bought new books. My Civil War bookshelf ran out of space. Where am I supposed to put Europeans in Civil War America now?

A new bookshelf. You'll be able to better divide your books then.

Like...the first half of the war from the second half.

Threaten to split the book in half, then give it to the shelf that objects to the act.

Heading off to college in about 2 hours.

Fuck.

I swear I'm the only one who has to constantly do a detailed plot synopsis of whatever media I'm indulging in while doing so. Silly OCD.
