Oh, I am cynical about that. It'll be successful, sure, but I doubt it'll beat 2 million. Maybe if it sells better than Vanilla Dm C, but even that's a long shot.
So, apparently there's been some slight mistranslation/exaggeration going on. Apparently, what he meant can be said about any game: If this doesn't sell OK, there will be no sequel. Like, it's not as bad as it seems according to my sources.

Oh, and regarding my earlier concerns about the boss against The Window, looking at videos it seems like Lady and Vergil can still knock gladiuses into Agnus even without the buster.
