Good question.

I just started playing this. I saved at the first choice after the opening theme for now. I didn't realize that Houzuki's being voiced by the goddamn EMPEROR WAKAMOTO, which immediately made me play this game even more.

So, a couple of things:

• This game knows how to make a first impression...
• The setting is rather depressing, in contrast to that sunflower motif that it has.
• I'm torn whether to consider Kenichi as funny or as an arrogant jerk.
• Can I expect this game to surpass G Senjou No Maou, or at least come close to it?

It comes close I think. Maybe equal.

I'll answer your latter two questions at once. First, don't judge Kenichi just yet. G Senjou No Maou probably had a slightly superior story and a better main heroine, but Kenichi is a far better protagonist. Overall, they're around even. I guess I give the victory to G Senjou No Maou though. And I opt for saying he's funny rather than arrogant. Easily. Just keep reading.

Whoopee. Not sure I should have two Akabeisoft2 games in one sitting, but I figured I might as well if I'm going to make the inevitable comparisons.

One question: is the fandisk worth playing?

Erogedownload should have it. I actually got it there a month or two ago but I still haven't finished the whole thing. Or even a quarter of it.

Can I say that I really, really don't like the route system in this game? It's annoying having to go through the others' routes again before I can get to the next one.

I think I'll try to finish this during the Christmas break. At least I'm done with Sachi's and Touka's main routes.

How does the route system work in this game?

There's only one storyline. You see every route, and sometime in the middle of them you have a choice of whether you want to hook up with the girl in question. The order is Sachi, Touko, Natsumi and then, if you don't pick her or don't have the points, there are two different endings that I don't really want to get into the details of.

Thus, if you pick Sachi, you get a few scenes with her throughout the story. If you don't, you have the choice of picking Touko, and the same thing happens. To get all the CGs and endings you basically have to play thrugh the same story four times, reloading from save points as appropriate.

Plus, the game is not subtle at all about Natsumi being the main heroine, which I found quite annoying. You were apathetic to Usami, and I was apathetic to Natsumi. All of the competing heroines were much more interesting than her, but the conclusion is sadly built around her even if she isn't chosen.

It's a good VN, but the route system does indeed suck. Akabeisoft2 appears to have issues with this, really. A Profile, the oldest, is probably the best of the three currently in English at dealing with the issue, but it's also the one that is shortest and the worst least good of the three.

It's uh... annoyingly complicated. It's like you have to replay the game four times with different endings each, I think. The only difference is which girl you get the ending for, I think. You still have to go through the other girls' stories to finish a certain route. Arha explained it better.

so, was Ririko an extra route inside Natsumi's route and you have to finish Natsumi first to get her?She gets this treatment because of that penalty system,right?

I'd prefer you spoilered that since the existence of a fourth heroine at all is a spoiler but not really. All arcs of the series are there no matter what route you are on. Thus, it's technically Sachi -> Touko -> Natsumi -> Ririko. My wording was intentionally vague.
