Fire Dance (3RR)
Sorcery
Tap any number of untapped creatures you control. ~ deals damage to target creature or player equal to twice the number of creatures tapped this way.
Epic
Bit of a Rooster Teeth injoke. Not sure if I have everything worded optimally. :/
Haywood Holdout 5
Artifact
Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to you by creatures without flying or reach.
You cannot be targeted by a spell or ability an opponent controlls unless its controller pays 1 for each noncreature artifact you control.
"I'm still in the air!"
That spider web costs too much for too little. It could easily cost one green mana and no change to the card.

Dormant Mutant-Thing (UG)
Creature — Mutant Insect
Shroud
~ enters the battlefield tapped and doesn't untap during your next untap step.
4/4
I need a better name than "Mutant-Thing", but I cant think of anything.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Lilliana's Conscience BB
Enchantment
XXBB, T: Sacrifice ~. Then you gain X life, all opponents lose X life, and creatures you don't control get -X/-X until end of turn.
"You think I have a conscience? Oh, you're so adorable." - Lilliana Vess

One of my 4 AM posts. Is this OP, overcosted, or, like, anything in particular?
Knowlessman, Champion of the Newbs 2(W/U)(W/U)
Planeswalker - Knowlessman
+1: Scry 2, then draw a card.
-1: Until the start of your next turn, target permanent you control has protection from permanents and spells your opponents control.
-5: Gain control of target permanent an opponent controls.
4
I think 2CC may be a bit undercosted for unlimited filtered card draw.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Maybe it'll be okay if you lower the starting loyalty and/or make it scry 1?
Binding Binding Charge stone - 1
Artifact
X - Exile a Sorcery from your hand with CMC of X or less.
X,T - Cast a copy of a Sorcery exiled by ~ with CMC X or less. (Cast only as a Sorcery)
I have already done something like this◊ at some point, haven't I?
I wanted to give him a random chance of breaking equipment (on the ult, for each equipment attached to him you flip a coin, if you lose destroy that equipment) but it didn't fit.

They call it the Rumour Mill because every time one specific guy posts I definitely feel cards going from my library to my graveyardSo this is basically a less restrictive Isochron Scepter, then?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Didn't realize there was already card similar to that. I guess bump the mana cost to 3 to match that card. I think the higher initial cost (since you don't get a free spell) should balance out the higher versatility.
So I had this idea for a five-color planeswalker...
Zargleyov, The Gift-Giver - WUBRG
Planeswalker - Zargleyov
+X - Each opponent gains X life.
0 - Choose one - You gain 3 life; or draw a card; or destroy target untapped creature; or Zargleyov deals 3 damage to target creature or player; or target creature gets +3/+3 until your next upkeep.
-1 - Each player returns target card from his or her graveyard to his or her hand.
1
(Image:A nightmarish looking creature with a wide Slasher Smile. Actually quite friendly and compassionate.)
And now, Mindslaver taken to it's logical extreme.
Mindbreaker's Orb - 15
Legendary Artifact
You control each opponent during that player's turn. (You see all cards that player could see and make all decisions for the player.)
With this, I have finally abolished the greatest evil of them all: Free Will.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget? The latter is, of course, leaving itself open to be cheated on the field through Tinker, Master Transmuter, etc.
Couldn't you just as well shorten Mindbreaker's Orb to make it say "You win the game"?

It'd be funny if someone managed to get it out when they were in an unwinnable situation (like with an enchantment draining their life or something) and having control of the other players didn't help.
But 99% of the time it's just a 'you win the game' card.
Gravity 1GW
Enchantment
Creatures lose flying and can't gain flying.
Something for a -1/-1 counter based set.
- Lantern of Hope 2
- Artifact - Equipment
- Equipped creature gains "During your upkeep, you may remove a -1/-1 counter from a creature. If you go, equipped creatures gets +1/+1 and you gain 1 life."
- Equip 1

Fertile Fields
Land - Forest Plains
~ enters the battlefield tapped.
When ~ enters the battlefield, sacrifice it unless you pay (G/W) or (G/W)(G/W). If (G/W)(G/W) is paid, untap ~.
How good/bad would a cycle of these things be?

They won't see a lot of play if they are in standard at the same time as the Scry lands. They don't seem overpowered at least.
Those are kind of not the greatest. The double land types are nice, but being forced to pay mana to even keep it is terrible. It means that you can't play one on turn one, and playing one on turn two will stop you for that turn completely.
So, overall, I'd say they're waaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind the shocks.
Dedicated Soldiery 0
''The eternal question of reality, it still stands today.''Creature - Human Soldier
Dedicated Soldiery costs white mana in addition to its casting cost equal to the number of Plains you control. Dedicated Soldiery cannot be cast while you have no plains on the battlefield.
