The whole point of deathclaws is that they're scary monsters impossible to kill. Like, they were bred by the military to be just that. It makes sense that they'd be, well, impossible to kill.
They're basically the dragons of Fallout.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Drugs also help for fighting deathclaws.
Want to remind everyone in the thread that when the cinematic trailer and gameplay demo for Fallout 4 are shown at E3 all discussion about them are to be done in the Fallout 4 thread.
It's probably by the Fallout 3 team so don't expect miracles.

There is gunna be a fallout 4?
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesYou don't have a conference by yourself if you're only going to show a updated version of Dishonored for PS 4.
Oooooooooooo me want.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesOn the one hand... New Vegas is just so much better than Fo3... On the other hand, what can the new engine do...
I mean, just going off of the Skyrim engine, I'm expecting dual-wielding and better stealth, with a big upgrade to VATS.
Although, I wouldn't be lying if I said Dishonored 2 would make me happier than Fo4.

Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged Men...what about...a fallout MMO.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesThat would either be the best or the worst thing ever. MMO's are hard to do right.
Yeah. I would ratehr they did not. I...would love it. But I would rather they did not.
...god. No. Yes. No. yes! NO!
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesBeth already has one MMO going right now, to bring out a second would mean competing them themselves. Not happening.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Doesnt Perfect World have like five thousand MM Os or something
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesTheir MMO did not live up to expectations so doing another one wouldn't be wise. Plus the main beth team has't (in theory, I'm guessing in practice they helped with ESO) launched a game since skyrim. They're either been developing F04 or TESVI for the last little while.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Plus I don't see Bethesda being stupid enough to try and launch a Fallout Online after canning the previous one by Interplay through legal channels and stuff.
What is everyone's favorite weapon in Fallout?
In 3 it was the Chinese Assault Rifle. In New Vegas the Hunting Rifle probably.
I'd say Anti Materiel but the ammo was too rare and expensive.
Oh really when?In New Vegas? The Selenaire heavy sniper rifle, the Nyx and Benelli JSS shotguns and the modded All American brought in by Book of Earache and Nordic Firearms. None of the vanilla weapons really make an impression, not even the uber expensive ones added in by Lonesome Road.
Silenced Sniper Rifles FTW
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesOH BABY!
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces. Thus far: scoped and silenced varmint rifle will always have a special place in my heart, as I like stealth-sniping. To that end, the Gobi Campaign Sniper Rifle was the one that got me most my kills at later levels, but the All-American was the best multiple-purpose one I've used. The Gauss rifle is a close second, but I found it ate up too much ammo.
Also have a soft spot for the various fist weapons. Nothing better than punching something to death and gibbing them with the Bloody Mess perk like I was Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star.
The version of the Gobi Campaign Sniper Rifle that you get in the Book of Earache mod is sweet. I forgot all about that one, so thanks for the reminder. It's in this version chambered in .408 Chey Tac, and hits like a fricking truck. You can get it customized so that when you crouch you get more stealthy, and thus get better crit hits.
Ooh, I have several favorites. Lever-action shotgun is my favorite for early-game, with that being replaced by a fully-modded hunting shotgun, then more recently by a riot shotgun. A scoped hunting rifle is easily one of my favorites, but as far as sniping goes, its replaced by the marksman's carbine/All-American or Anti-Material Rifle, though Christine's COS Sniper Rifle comes close. For pistols, fully-modded .45 or A Light Shining in Darkness replace everything else. I even used a hunting revolver in my first playthrough that was replaced by ALSID.
I have some mod questions: How does WMX do with Project Nevada and/or Gun Runners Arsenal installed? I'm not hot on some of the replacement weapon mods.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenAnti Material Rifle, though paying for the ammo becomes a pain.
I think WMX has a compatibility patch for PNV and it definitely has them for all of the DLC.
My favorite weapons (admittedly all WMX'd) are Medicine Stick, even if .45-70 is rarer than .50 BMG, and the Battle Rifle (PING!), though if I had to pick just one gun, it'd be the Hunting Shotgun (if vanilla) or Dinner Bell (if WMX). Favorite energy weapon is the Q-35 Plasma Modulator.
I just grabbed Rawr as an example. No need to overhtink him.
