Does it shoot explosive darts? Because I found one of those in a mod called Playthings, too. Used it to blow up some security droids and a bunch of aggressive . . . um, playthings, in order to save two others for myself.
After some testing:
Dart gun works!
Fawkes doesn't!
Also the industrial hand is still ghost killin' destruction for those without tale of two wastelands.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?I remember a strange strange thing happening to me up at Lone Wolf Radio, I always use it as a player home, you see. I also know you probably won't believe me.
So anyway, I went in to dump some stuff off after liberating it and using it as my home. There sleeping on the mattress was this man in his underwear, a scavenger, so I went up to talk to him, he got up and then proceeded to fall through the floor.
Ugh, my wineprefix went to shit and now I have to redownload all of FO:NV.
So that's like 2 hours of delay, and since I can't actually run Linux Steam and Windows Steam at the same time, I can't even play something else in that time.
At least I saved my mods directory.
Would anyone play a remastered edition of New Vegas or Fallout 3? After all, remastering games that have been out for the grand total of about a year is getting common now, and it would be interesting to see what could be done to both games with some newer tech behind them.
I think I'd really enjoy Fallout 3 with all the little quality of life and mechanics improvements from Vegas. Next gen graphics and lighting too.
Sure there's mods for that but they can only do so much.
Oh really when?I want a Fallout game in the style of Wasteland 2, personally.
Except replace the whole keyword system with actual dialogue trees.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I just started playing Fallout 2 and I am having a blast.
Turns out I still have my old save.
Oh well, Imma roll up a new Courier. This time 'round, the plan is Logan's Loophole and ALL OF THE DRUGS.
Hmm... game is reasonably stable in terms of not crashing, but sometimes the textures wig out. It's just annoying if my gun turns solid black or my hair vanishes, but sometimes, it manages to make the Pip-Boy unusable, which makes it much harder to be constantly drunk.
Fortunately, a good closing-and-reopening of the game tends to fix that.
Also, have a nod that lets you hurl cricket balls at chumps: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57403/
Or maybe some TOS-era phasers: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57125/
And then there's the Henukel & Koch J.P. Sauer and Sohn 1913 pistol with all kinds of tacticool crap: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57948/
And in case you're tired of double-barrels, BEHOLD the quad-barrel shotgun: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57851/
Hahaha, I almost forgot how much I loathe the Legion and everything they stand for, including both the Roman Empire and obnoxious Romanophilia. Gonna shoot all the sonsofbitches in the face, nuke Arizona into a parking lot, and then send another Legate down a canyon while on fire. And then I'll probably make another Courier and do it again.

I disliked the speaker puzzles, personally. Other than that, didn't mind Dead Money. Of course, when I went at Dead Money I was able to murder the Ghosts with a Knife Spear Clean. Because that's the manly way to do it. (Even with a female Courier.)
That's right, play it like Gurren Lagann. Even the women are manly bros!
Well, just killed House again. Seemed like the nice thing to do, after all. I haven't touched the DLC yet, and I'm pushing level 30-ish - I just can't seem to work up the enthusiasm. Especially since I just did this mod:
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40433/?
where you get to rebuild the Bison Steve Hotel and fit it with a casino, and what's more, get money every week from it, and it's just so much more fun to do. You get to traipse around the Mojave Wasteland doing quests which actually expand on ones you wouldn't normally do unless you were bored and manages to make them more worthwhile. One of the ones I'm talking about is the one where you have to go taking photographs for that Michael Angelo dude on the Strip, which is kinda dull on its own, but with the mod, what you do for him eventually gets you some kick ass decorations for the front of your new casino.
Loved that one. On my no fast travel(ish) run it gave me a couple of places to crash and a fairly steady income.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?...I think I shall get this one next time
I tried the one where you open the Lucky 32; this one seems a bit better. Definitely checking it out.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenFinished New Vegas Bounties I this morning. And, amazingly, it didn't crash, have any doors I couldn't go through or folks I couldn't kill. Which is rare, as every other time I tried to do the mod, all of those things I just listed happened.
edit
And this afternoon finished Oh My Papa, with the "getting the Great Khans out of the Mojave rather than leaving them to Sallow or wiping them out for that bitch Moore" ending, natch.

I just got into these vids last night. That was hilarious. And yeah, the episode in two weeks is going to be fun. Maybe we'll see Joanna.
Just finished Dead Money, which as you know is my least favourite of all the Bethesda Fallout series dlc. Boxed Elijah, got the gold out and didn't die once.
Mainly due to me for the first time ever using a cheat code to get more weight carrying capacity and a mod to remove the scripts that kill you with the collars going boom and the Cloud killing you.
I have been doing something called a "Big Boss" Playthrough for the game. I play the entire game as Naked Snake, which means focusing skills on traits based around the character, only using what guns I can find. And avoiding all cheats beyond upping carryweight.
I have been doing fine so far, only broken my cheating rule, like... 6... times... only for unlocking stuff or spawning lost items due to Mods Crashing.
Come on Fallout 4, don't you dare let me down. My heart can't take that.
Oh really when?
Abuse the Dart Gun. Abuse it mercilessly. Having that thing inside the Sierra Madre complex would be the single best fuck you to the Ghost People that I could imagine.
