3DS shipments have surpassed 60 million. Come on, it can make it to 65...

I feel satisfaction at calling it would hit 65.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. As a longtime Harvest Moon fan, that trailer almost made me hate Harvest Moon.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That isn't the real Harvest Moon. It's an In Name Only series devloped by Natsume after they lost the Bokujo Monogatari license (the real Harvest Moon). The Harvest Moon that has been around since the SNES era is now called Story of Seasons.
This song needs more love.I know. That's why I said "almost."
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! Here's N-Stars, Mario Party: Star Rush. Last major 3DS game of 2016 I assume.

New IP RPG being announced tomorrow.◊
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Huh. While I appreciate any and all new 3DS projects, especially new IPs from Nintendo, we're already overflowing with RPGs. Well, might as well appreciate the extra game.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Let's hope this doesn't turn into another Codename: STEAM.
I just got STEAM, it's actually great.
Nintendo's E3 site says it's an action adventure RPG. Sounds good to me. Debuts 10:55 AM PT. Not expecting it to be the next Splatoon, but hopefully it's something above an eshop title.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. This is a Nintendo IP debuting, correct?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Probably, but we'll see.
Box Boy: One More Box is finally confirmed to be coming to the west. Now we just need Picross 3D 2 and Detective Pikachu.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Ever Oasis for 3DS announced. Directed by a Final Fantasy director and developed by Greezo, who made the 3DS Zelda ports and Triforce Heroes. Looks like Zelda/Monster Hunter except chibi. Or maybe Fantasy Life is more accurate.
Trailer.

Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Rhythm Heaven Megamix is getting a stealth release today.
OH MY FUCKING HOLY SHIT
*Frantically loads up 3DS eshop*
Is it worth it at this point to get one of the newer 3DSes? I hear there's a lot of things on the eshop that just won't load on the older ones. Plus it does seem like they're coming out with a lot of stuff this coming year.
Rhythm Heaven Megamix is dual audio, apparently. That'll make purists happy.
Well, there's some games that are better on the N 3 DS(MM 3 D has better cameral control, HW:Legends just plain runs better), Xenoblade 3D, and VC SNES games, and native amiibo support, if you get the regular 3DS you probably won't miss out on a whole lot. I have a launch year 3DS and it still holds up alright, though it does have some of the minor issues present in the models from that year. Also needed to buy the amiibo reader.

I think this Neogaf thread shows you what exclusives and performance improvements the New Nintendo 3DS have.
Main things you will be losing out on on the "old" 3DS are Xenoblade 3D and the SNES Virtual Console.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! They didn't even bother to localize the new lyrical songs, judging by the first remix. They "English" versions just have low-quality synth instruments in lieu of singing. Very lazy, but eh, I can just switch the Japanese audio on.
Kind of a shame that NOA put in such a bear minimum effort between the songs and the stealth digital-only release, but I'm mostly just happy to have it at all.

One other neat thing about the N 3 DS; more stable 3D effect. You don't have to worry about your head leaning slightly back or having shaky hands during more frantic button mashy games to get 3D that doesn't mess up. Can actually hold the system in a comfortable way without having to be super precise of distance or angle.
But that should have been obvious.
Only complaint is the C-nub thing can be slippery and hard to use consistently. But that might just be me.

You think part of it could also have something to do with all that buzz about that Disney Art Academy game?
