just updated my system, and the info for the themes shop includes a skyward sword theme.
alas, not included in the actual shop. but i'll be holding off on buying themes until they get a larger selection than just the one zelda theme that looks kinda good. in the meantime, red theme it is.because there is no green
I wish I could find the theme I originally had for the system. I don't remember if it's among them. >_<
They should make a theme that lets the 3DS look like a D Si.
I'm the guy who knows how to make games but doesn't. 3DS FC: 2878-9776-7579Tldr: there's a new 3DS system coming out as many already know. Thus, do we want another 3DS thread or should we include official discussions in this one?

Just keep it here.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Ok. Makes sense.
Does anyone think we should rename the thread to include both- to avoid potential thread duplication?

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Nah. The New 3DS is to the 3DS what the D Si was to the DS.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Does that mean we are almost done with this generation of handhelds? SO SOON!
Nah, the 3DS came out about three years ago and I'd say it has another three left before being replaced.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's hard to say.
...I rather doubt Sony will try the handheld thing again at this point, which really just leaves Nintendo. With all their talk of unified hardware for their consoles and handhelds, they'll probably ride out the New 3DS until the Wii U's successor comes around, and then release both at about the same time.
Welcome to th:|That does make me sad at the thought of Sony bowing out of handhelds but the Vita has only really done okay in Japan and even then, it isn't doing that well.
Mostly its because I only have both a 3DS and a Vita and I like the different library that the Vita has. OPTIONS ARE GOOD YO.
Yeah, whatever the next handheld is going to be, the chances are very good it'll get a near simulations release with the next console. Seeing as how the Wii U is about two-years-old at this point, I could see it being replaced in another three.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Who knows. The 3DS has been going downhill lately, but the revision will keep it alive for another year at least. I'm predicting the 4DS to come holiday 2016, giving the 3DS around 5 1/2 years. The next home console would then come 2017, and they'd share the same OS to make porting and reusing assets easier. And hopefully they would allow cross buy then.
The 3DS has been going downhill? Since when? Smash Bros just came out and there are likely to be several more major titles in the future.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's down year over year by a noticeable amount in both Japan and America. It may beat the last year's holidays this year, but it's too far behind for it not to decline for the whole year. Thankfully Tomodachi Life and Youkai Watch 2 kept it afloat until Smash.

I'd say it's probably there haven't been many HYPE HYPE HYPE games. (in the West at least) The only real one I can see enticing people over this year has been Smash. Bravely Default is an RPG and even if popular, it's somewhat niche. Yoshi's New Island was given a So Okay, It's Average. Kirby was good. Tomodachi Life has been Overshadowed by Controversy and there really hasn't been anything major in terms of physical releases for the past few months up until Smash. (Shovel Knight and Azure Strike Gunvolt however...) And even then, a remake of a Pokemon game doesn't have the same amount of hype as a new one.

I wonder if the theme shop will be updated every Thursday like the eShop.
And I wonder if the NA eShop has any plans to catch up with the European eShop any time soon.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerHey, they still don't have Shovel Knight.
The U.S. gets all the new and indie games, but Europe gets all the Virtual Console games.
Reggie, why must you so neglect something that had such promise.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerNew 3DS and Monster Hunter 4G seem to be off to a good start in Japan.
It's Monster Hunter. I'm not surprised.
Didn't Capcom use all the money they got from the last MH game to start a Mobile Games division, only to close it down in a month? Hopefully they are a bit more careful with the money from this game.
Will I be able to use my SD cards with a new 3ds? I have a lot of data saved on them..
I have nothing better to spend my spare bucks on.
Gonna get a Mario theme
