If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.Goonies 2 is another video game I'm surprised he didn't review ages ago.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.Hm. James deleted his Will Salute video. Only reason I know that is because of a deletion notice in my AVGN playlist. I wonder why he removed it.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.If I'm not mistaken, I don't think he himself uploaded the video to Youtube. I think it was a reupload by someone else.
It was the Cinemassacre Clips channel which I thought was run by James as well.
Wii Salute does still exist via other uploads, but the video quality isn't as good.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.Well in that case, I don't know why it was taken down.
So cause it is based on some videos James has done and there isn't another appropriate outlet on the Tropes forum (Link to me if I'm wrong though), big or small, any other things in entertainment that fall into Chronologically Confusing?
Just games for me and yeah much minor than other stuff:
1. Mega Man. The classic series had 5 entries on the Game Boy which was given the title Mega Man World, Mega Man World 2 and such.
In the US first game while lengthy is still distinctly titled Mega Man Dr. Wily's Revenge. Other games, meh. Mega Man II, Mega Man III, Mega Man IV and Mega Man V.
Easier to distinguish from the NES titles through text as NES titles go by numbers and the GB games Roman numerals. Bit more annoying when talking directly.
Especially when mentioning for example that Mega Man II has four Robot Masters from Mega Man 2 and four Robot Masters from Mega Man 3.
2. Dragon Quest up until it's 8th installment was called Dragon Warrior in the US due to a tabletop RPG (I think) having the name.
Plus the new installments for the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) didn't make it around. So you missed Dragon Warrior V and VI, plus the title changes here after VII.
And allegedly, VI was planned for a SNES release under the name Dragon Warrior V.😏
Plus when it came to handheld releases, the first three came out when the Dragon Warrior name was still used, then Dragon Quest for the 4th-6th re-release on the DS. Nice.😋
Fixed now as the mobile releases all use Dragon Quest as the title, but VII is absent on it stateside and X still never got released.
Phoebe and Her Unicorn thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=16104243270A34144300Regarding Mega Man, I've learned recently that Mega Man Legends has it's own series, including a spin-off game centered on one of the side villains.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.I mean one of the main games of Legends was also as mentioned released as MM 64 as well right (N64 gimmick like with Super NES releases including Super)?
Phoebe and Her Unicorn thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=16104243270A34144300Wait don't we have Dragon Quest 7 on the 3ds in the states?
He did do a video on Dragon Quest, not in character as the Nerd, talking about both differences in names and release between countries, and the confusing in-universe chronology.

What's this? A new AVGN episode focused on a game I've never heard of? I'm in.
x2 You've never heard of this game? It was featured on James & Mike Mondays a few years ago.
Anyway, bottom of the barrel episode. I didn't laugh once, and the phone aspect ratio and roaming camera look kinda annoyed me.
I know of it via Vinesauce.
Feel like he was trying something different with this set up.
Wonder where he'd rank this game in term of WTF-ness compared to games like Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, Big Rigs, Seaman, Hong Kong 97, Crazy Bus, etc.

At the end of the episode (and prior episodes as well), it says "Gameplay by James, Sean, and Mike", so presumably they all had a part, though we don't know how much was done by each.
