Gav's definitely suffering from the lack of Power Creep, Power Seep (although it would be pretty ridiculous if he could fight someone like Kimimaro or Travis hand-to-hand).

Casually dodging a four-hundred pound bat while on the phone - that's pretty badass, actually.

That, my fellow troper, is Travis Touchdown, Badass Otaku.

You won't be dodging so easily when he puts on the bordeux mask, though.

(Hint: It basically turns him into a Lightning Bruiser. The cobalt one does the exact opposite. It turns him into a Mighty Clacier. With a chest-cannon.

You do realise, badass or no, fighting two skilled opponents at once is nigh-impossible for a human, right?

I can attest to this - doing the same in World Of Warcraft gets you dead.

Unless you're a tank, of course. Have some fond memories of taking out four ogres in quick succesion on my level 66 human warrior, I do!

You do realize that Travis is not your average human.

I acknowledged that he's a badass. He's now up against three heroes, however.

Neither are his the people he is fighting. A golem with amodular skill set, a melee master with an arsenal of weapons only limited by his imagination and a skilled fighter who has the ability to cause spontaneous rockslides and localized earthquakes.

A modular skill set and a REALLY HEAVY BAT, most importantly.

So, what exactly does this library contain? If Laharl walked over to a magazine rack, what would he find?

Perhaps the library contains only forms of media that we have recorded here on TV Tropes? So if Laharl picked up a magazine chances are it would be a comic book.

And for some reason I can see the library being staffed by members of Jurisfiction and The Librarian.

Would Web Comics be on the computers or compiled into books?

And what about video games for that matter?

Gee, thanks guys. I mean, you know, Travis died. Mint might not be around but that still seems a bit unfair to the poor guy to not give him some respect.

Eh... Videogames would be novelized with the gameguides in an appendix. Webcomics would be printed out and bookmarked on the libraries computer.

Minty, feel free to disregard this if my world building is bunk to your setting.

I read the sign-up thing, but I don't want to bring him back, so I guess we should give him some sort of send-off.

... Let's just say that the Library contains things that don't exist in our world, AKA the world of the Tropers.

Wait, he's going to stay dead? No, bring back the bloodthirsty maniac! I've already written him into the plot and everything!
