So fun question I've been meaning to ask: which girl did Ragna receive the most ship-tease in the end? Like Rachel or Celica?

Uuuh, well honestly it depends on who you favor I guess; they both had pretty reasonable amounts on both ends.

Him and Celica have a moment the night before she fades away, and comes pretty close to a love confession before catching herself.

Ragna realizes Rachel's dream (i.e. himself) and embraces her much to her embarrassment, but she ultimately reciprocates....then he erases her memory of him.

I love how the character page, the Awesome page and the Analysis page tries to make Makoto to be the opposite to Hazama/Terumi and make her sound more awesome that she ought to be.

She is awesome, yeah... but only as awesome as a supporting character goes. Her whole motivation is pretty much about supporting her friends, and it's lucky she even appeared in CP climax. And Terumi's opposite has always been Ragna.

The only relevant connection Makoto and Haz/Terumi have these days is the writers weird obsession with having him step on her. Alter Memory started it, the novel, live play, Makoto's act 1 arcade, Terumi's CF winquote all did it as well...it's uncomfortable tbh since I know they're doing it for eroticism.

You can blame Cerotech for that, just like how if you notice how developed Litchi's sections are, you can blame Chris for that. That's mainly a bi-product from the CS era where speculation ahd hype ran wild. Feel free to change it if you want, I don't think they'd mind at this point.

Sounds like Ragna/Rachel has the best chance now that Celica is gone and Noel is officially his sister Saya.

No shit. Rachel has won by virtue of the fact that she's still alive. Sure Ragna's ascended & mind-wiped everyone of him but he's still technically alive unless Celica makes a comeback from oblivion somehow Rachel's got Ragna in the bag.

Also why wouldn't' Terumi love bullying Makoto? She's a beastkin with repressed memory's of experiencing discrimination & racism. She copes by focusing all her efforts & goals in making sure her friends are safe. She's the perfect goober for a troll to mess with. If I was him I'd prolly bully Makoto for shits & giggles too.

Huh so Cero is responsible for the very large Makoto parts on the analysis page? Who's responsible for the Terumi stuff cause wow there is a lot?

And man, Nine's entire sendoff is actually pretty heart rending. You know she's wrong and has to be put down, but you can't help but feel sorry for her in her last moments.

Very much so. He thought very highly of Makoto and honestly thought she was way more important than she actually was; to be honest, I initially thought so too since I got most of my info about her from this site's character page, then I played the game proper and was kind wondering why she wasn't as relevant as her descriptions implied. Like really, you'd swear Makoto was the actual main character based on her descriptions on this site.

Chris did the Terumi stuff iirc, since they most likened him to Satan as far back as CS. Didn't think those comparisons would actually end up being true in the end haha.

EDIT: C Ome to think of it, I think its time for some of the pages to be reformatted a bit; the awesome and heartwarming page need to be properly organized I feel and the Tear Jerker page is way too long and unorganized.

Nine's final bow is pretty damn awesome. Sure, it's kind of a cliche but that doesn't reduce it's awesome.

The entire game, particularly the endgame, is just Blazblue in it's purest form; pure, unadulterated Cliché Storm. It plays every single stock fantasy Anime trope completely straight without any hint of irony.......and it fucking works.

Random thought but I'm re-watching some of CF's story and I feel they made Tsubaki waaaay more mean and difficult than she was in the past games. I suppose I don't mind the writers embracing her inner bitch tho since she's Jin's love interest after all lmao.

It counts kinda I will admit cause she "has" a chance. I mean it on the emphasis, compared to the other girls, especially with what she plans to do at the games end then she just wins by default.

Also if Makoto's & by extension other pages are built on exaggeration & hype then they really need to be changed. I kinda value this site's information so I kinda relay on it too much so I hope that its reliable.

I mean I gotta be honest, I'm still on Calamity Trigger. I'm still on the first fucking game, less then half-way done with Carl's route while Tao, Tager, Rachel, Hakumen & Nu are left ignoring that I need to finish Tager & Rachel's arcade cause I'm a completionist. I don't mind spoilers so I rely on this site for info. I already bought Continuum Shift last week when I went to see Shin Godzilla so I'm ready when I'm done at least.

Let's be fair, she's only a bitch to Ragna. She really doesn't even try to hide her contempt for him, treats him like he's the worst in-law ever.

Dude, every game comes with a recap of the series; hell, you can just play Calamity Trigger reconstruction and still get a rough idea of the plot. If you try to do every game's story, you'll literally finish in maybe....five years.

And yea, I'll get around to the character pages; its rather funny reading Makoto's section under the awesome moment page...its literally bigger than most of the other characters on that page.

Huh I did notice that she has a lot of awesome stuff done. Also a lot of heartwarming stuff that she has her own section & desciption about it.

I assumed as much due to how Chris said he'd be pissed at her treatment in CF but damn I didn't know he was that into her.

Speaking of cliches... how is Susanoo even "narmy" in the first place? I find him straight menacing as a villain and not ridiculous at all.

And Nine is a Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds for a reason. :')

What does it for me is how he's even more pretentious than Terumi, but still manages to make it work.

Well as much I absolutely love his theme song ya gotta admit the lyrics are fucking crazy. It really helps that they are said with such intensity & death-metalness.

Define pretentious. I sometimes have a hard time understanding that word.

It's funny when people blame Cero at being flowery at Makoto and me being flowery at Litchi (to be honest, long explanation has since become my usual style in pretty much anything about adding entries. Does good to avoid Zero Context Examples.)... and yet, long flowery explanations on how much awesome Hazama/Terumi is as a villain, or long flowery explanations on how much awesome Ragna is (or long flowery explanations on how much Noel is such a poor little baby) are excused? I understand they're the main villain and hero... But everyone deserves fair treatment, even if the writers are 'playing favorites'.

If you think overly flowery explanations are annoying, then no one should get a flowery explanation. (And I really don't think anyone ever gave Litchi one. As in, which one would be one Crowning Moment Of Awesome for her that everyone would gawk at? Probably none... And that's how I started to learn that CMOA isn't everything in what makes a character great).

@slimcoder: Oh you think Cero's stuff with Makoto is pretty bad? Clearly you weren't around when I was in my worst state when it comes to Litchi. To the point that I even HAD to stay the hell away from Blaz Blue for a time. I'll tell a bit: Yakuzu was right when he said CS was when hype and speculation ran wild. Makoto was bar down the most hyped character ever, not only that they talk shit about Litchi to hype her like saying she no longer matters when there's another shining star boob girl (and mind you, Litchi just entered a difficult situation where she's a wide target for scorn and being called amoral for joining NOL), when Extend rolls in and then Relius fucked her up hard in her bad end, fandom went into an uproar and forgot that Relius' crimes to his family (poor Carl) is the usual 'most heinous action' for him. His most heinous action is now what he did to Makoto, because poor poor Makoto... Even the presence of Bullet and more boob ladies like Mai or Nine never really stopped the Makoto hype train, right now I'm trying to find out about aspects of Makoto that made her such a big hit in the fandom and caused them to hype her to hell and back.

(I'm sorry, Cero, I know you like Makoto, but you gotta admit, her fandom can be rather dumb)

@Marona: Wait, what? Now Hazama stomping Makoto is getting turned into some sort of cruel Running Gag? And ASW is like endorsing it?

And um... wow. Yeah. When Yakuzu said that I was kind of spot on with comparing Terumi with Satan and the game kind of endorses, I was like 'wow'...

What I did was just some "pointing out". So chill.

Everyone deserves flowery descriptions if they so desire, but I just think the more important characters would likely have "grander" things to do?

And I'm not suggesting any description to be changed unless they're blatantly wrong.

Well like I said, I think some descriptions can be toned down a bit so to speak. I know the site is free for anyone to edit and I know people love to gush about characters and series they like, but we should remember that other people read said descriptions that we type and should keep a neutral point of view unless its on a page specifically about gushing.
