BlazBlue: General thread.

I guess the translation had to have been botched becuase I just went back and checked.

Saya did say that she had "Laid ruin to the Master Unit".

The only other explanation is Mori being really inconsistent with his writing, and we all know that can't possibly happen.

What is Amaterasu's plan anyway? I know Rachel told a story in CP which seems to connect to her, but what is it even trying to accomplish?

From what I get, Amaterasu wants to save the current world. Not save "a" world, but the world as we know it. But she haven't found a solution yet and the world was looping, until Izanami get involved to stop Amaterasu and revert the world to it's true shape, a dead world.

Terumi/Hazama said in Noel's story in CS that Amaterasu is forcing the world to stay alive, or something in that style.

But yeah I think Mori was so wrapped up making all this crap that he forgot that people have to actually learn things about the setting.

They could have easily fit more explianation of this stuff into CT, and CS. But that's just crying over spilled milk.

And I can't speak for Phase Shift since no effort was made on Acrsys' part to localize them.

I heard it was just a translation really, the way the Imperator speaks in Japanese is so damn archaic, that's it's hard to translate that to english.

ahh Blazgreen. RIP 1.1...even tho America has to deal with you for a few more months.

You know despite the title and beginning, Endless Despair(original) actually sounds pretty triumphant, if only because of the chorus. Like it sounds intimidating and grim at first, which is you first realizing how overpowering Unlimited Terumi appears initially. But as the match goes on and you learn his patterns, your resolve is strengthened and at the end manage to pull through and win through sheer determination. Especally awesome if you end the match with an astral as the drums on the last chorus kick in. I didn't like it at first but it certainly grew on me and is a pretty nice final boss theme.

I always thought of Endless Despair as oddly fun-sounding, which works for a dangerous yet stylish and wildly entertaining villain like Terumi.

After listening to the vocal version, I always imagined Terumi just casually murdering people...in the most hilarious, yet awful ways possible.

Before I got into Blaz Blue, I always wanted to call him Hazama because I thought Terumi sounded too feminine. Then when I started investing in the characters, I wanted to call him by his true name.

I think the game uses both names for him interchangeably after the reveal, depending on who is referring to him, so call him what you want.

I think Mori commented that even Terumi is an alias though (which seems kinda weird, but whateves).

Well Hazama is his NOL identity, and only those from the NOL refer to him as such, even after the reveal. Only the ones who knew him before Hazama use Terumi.

Does he ever go into ghost form in CP? That form was trippy cool.

Welp I got a PSN card as a gift, I should buy some CP DLC because I know they'll announce somnething about 2.0 for consoles right after.

Speaking of 2.0, I've heard that the reason Extend was on disc was because of problems with Xbox and Microsoft? Like they were the ones that made it too expensive to patch, so they made a disc? I mean sure I remember the problems Xbox had like with the Valk DLC, but I've never seen mention of them being the reason Extend was on a disc. I guess I won't believe it until I see the actual statement(which wasn't linked), and I don't know much about this topic in the first place so yeah.

$20 sounds so unreal for CP when a whole year ago I had to jump through hoops to get like 6500 yen on my Japanese account.

So from what I understand of the description of Lambda's Arcade Route, she regains her memories and becomes Noel's partner/surrogate sister. I am more than okay with that. Hell, she can have this as a theme song!
