Touche. (though are you properly factoring in the professor's old/anger coefficient to determine whether it's special anger or operating anger? )
Though if it's every other generation, why then Papa Fry and brother Fry both being named Yancy? (bro fry was the first to break tradition just because he missed his brother that much)
Phil Lamarr is doing an AMA on Reddit, conclusively proving that the actors are in fact as entertaining as their characters.
deviantArt | TwitterOh, if you listen to Rob Paulsen's podcast, you already know that! :D
The season premiere is tonight. Let's do this. Loving the first episode so far.

3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541Poor Bender. But him raising Ben was adorable. Thankfully he improved with his second kid. Probably because he wasn't able to abandon him first this time.
Too bad he didn't have another son named Der.
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541Wonder how Ben will live out there in the wide world.
Amy's parents should come by and harass her more often, now that they are right next door.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I...did they actually acknowledge and positively develop the Fry and Leela relationship? Really? Dang, it really is the apocalypse.
Also, I think the best part of this episode was Futurama Fry showing up in the opening credits. That was brilliant.
deviantArt | TwitterI'm getting a kick out of Comedy Central acknowledging the Futurama image macros! They even got Billy West to record some "Not Sure If Want" lines!

I loved this episode. I just loved that they can do Bender postively yet have him be a bastard at the same time.
The plot of the pilot episode would never be acceptable if he and the soda machines were humans. That's why Bender is great for these stories.
I feel like The Great Reveal-O might become a meme, with the joke being that he reveals disappointing truths behind seemingly phenomenal things. It probably won't happen now that I've predicted it.

3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541Seems like a one-note joke, like the Neutral Ambassador.
If you don't think that guy became a meme, I have one thing to say to you.
Hello.
I missed the episode.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyOkay, as a meme, I think the Great Reveal-O will probably be popular. The first time I saw that exchange, I thought you were saying he'd be a recurring joke character.
Fresh-eyed movie blogFuturama just referenced Birdemic. Surreal.
I was impressed that they actually brought back the time travel code from Bender's Big Score, but disappointed when they completely screwed up how time travel was established to work, so the episode makes absolutely no sense. That kind of ruined it for me, as well as the cliched robot apocalypse.
How many episodes has Futurama done involving time travel now?
Needs a new signature.I recall 4.

3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541The Why of Fry, Roswell That Ends Well, Bender's Big Score, The Late Philip J. Fry, All the President's Heads, Election 3012. That's off the top of my head, but I think that's all. 6 episodes on the subject.
Needs a new signature. That one was great.
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541Was there any other episode where You Can't Fight Fate? It just seems to be a trope that, arguably, doesn't happen that much in the six or so episodes of Time Travel in Futurama, except for that one where they're all British because Great Britain won the war instead of the US. The ending to last week's episode, therefore, didn't seem as big a twist ending as I felt it would.
Please tell me that Calculon will be back. I can't live in a world without his acting prowess Shatnering it up on my screen.
deviantArt | TwitterIf it's any consideration, the second half of this season has an episode called Calculon 2.0, so I doubt he'll stay dead.
"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!So are there any official links to these episodes I keep missing?
The sad, REAL American dichotomy
That tradition was every-other generation. Also, the professor did show concern. Remember that "DON'T NOT DO IT!" line? And all his other anger at Fry?
