^ I had the same emotion at first, too. Then I went on The Other Wiki and saw that it was written by Nisio Issin. And then it all made sense.

Also, I like how the Cannot Spit It Out period got compressed into two episodes, instead of dragging on the entire series.

Thread necro: I'm terribly confused about B's ending. Reading ANN's entry, it looks like it got a home release already (Blu Ray, even), so I presumed the series wrapped up.

On the other hand, no matter where I search, the last episode (Tsubasa Cat Part 5, episode 15 IIRC) doesn't seem to exist. B was pretty popular and SHAFT's already churning out new things, so it seems to me quite implausible that they couldn't be arsed to do the last episode, especially seeing that the episode is supposed to be a web release.

I've waited uncertainly since 14 came out February but, you know, it's already June. Any folks here know what exactly is going on?

The final episode is coming out in mid June I believe.

Ah. Thanks. I suppose it's better to know that it isn't forgotten more than anything else.

EDIT: Nevermind, I realised that I missed the nine-day old news about B's schedule slip on ANN, haha. I must've been blind or something. Thanks again.

Double posting and necroing because I don't want to make a new thread.

Yes, I know SHAF Ted is almost a meme now, but come on, don't tell me that B's FINAL EPISODE got delayed again.

EDIT: Okay, never mind. You know what, it came out moments ago. Ugh.

At last.

Somehow I missed this despite being the local fanboy. In some sense though, I don't think it's theoretically possible for this episode to be worth the wait. It's just, well, another episode that ends the arc and the greater arc of the story.

Apparently R1 license costs for this series are quite high.

But I would kill to see this released here.

^Episode 15's been released somewhat recently, but it isn't fully subbed yet. I'm pretty sure what's out there at the moment is an attempt at trolling, two part release that totals up to around 10 minutes and cuts off abruptly (episode 15 is supposed to be 25 minutes long).

Yeah, the fansub group is releasing it in 5 parts distributed over 5 days. The act of trolling is confirmed by the snarky remarks accompanying the releases. It seems that the the translators are rather annoyed by the show.

...

I started watching this because I saw a Touhou parody of the ED and it seemed pretty.

I saw the first episode a bit ago and it certainly wasn't what I was expecting. I was, uh, a little confused.

... Now I just watched the second episode and I'm confused, disoriented, sad, happy, and very, very conflicted.

I don't know WHAT it did to me, but a nerve was struck.

Keep watching Fawriel.

I just finished this series a couple of days ago. Damn this was a good show.

I'm conflicted in that a crab-themed yandere and a 1/10 vampire lolicon are the cutest couple I've seen in a long while.

That's how you're supposed to feel. If there's one thing that this anime does well, it's conveying the character's emotional states to the audience.

After a long, long pause, I finally started watching this again.

I didn't react nearly as strongly to episode 3 as I did to episode 2, but... oof.

The worst thing about mindscrew anime is that you never know if the show's really supposed to be barely comprehensible, if it's the translation's fault, or if you're just an idiot.

No, no, it's supposed to be like that.

Episode 3 is the worst of the lot, though. After that, Mayoi Snail starts picking up, and the other arcs aren't nearly as navel-gazish.

It's been fun.

Episode 3 is the best episode. I would say that an awful lot is lost in translation though. There's basically two levels to their conversation for most of the episode, and while that usually gets across some of it relies on their precise wording which is pretty much impossible to translate.

The first episode of each arc is generally a breather episode; they usually get back into the plot with the next episode. Also, I've found that episode three is a lot more rewarding when you rewatch it after you've finished the series.

^Rewatching Episode 3 after the rest of the series just makes me feel worse for Hasegawa. And then I wonder why I feel bad... I mean, it's not like her claim on Araragi is any more valid than Senjogahara's. But I didn't really like Senjogahara much at all before Episode 12, or maybe the end of Suruga Monkey, I guess?

It's been fun.

Edit: misread your post.

I always liked Senjougahara for her way with words. She's fun to watch, even if I wouldn't necessarily want to meet her.

Don't really like Senjogahara much. I don't really dislike her either; she's just sort of there.
