I haven't used tumblr in a while. Replying is when you reblog something and add your own text right? Or is it something else? Is it a feature they removed ?
It's its own feature. You used to have a little speech bubble next to the reblog button and it let you comment on the post without it showing up on your blog (so if someone was having family trouble you could show your support without reblogging something personal, or looking like you 'liked' someone being sad) or at least that's what I mostly used it for. It was slightly inconvenient since you couldn't reply to them.
Anyone else super frustrated by the new 'recommendations'/'ads' system they're using?
Or am I just imagining that things have gotten worse or otherwise only just now experiencing just how bad it is?
I haven't been active in tumblr lately except to upload a video. But I've grown a bit sad when I think about it. Mostly because I'm not too popular and hardly anyone reblogs my things. Second because I can't find much funny things on there directly anymore and I get all my funny stuff from screenshots of tumblr I find on Pinterest.
I don't think you want to be popular on tumblr tbh. A person I follow made a semi-personal post about their own anxiety issues, and they proceeded to get made fun of and harassed by it, and that's a semi constant thing. Like most things online, being quiet and unnoticed is my preferred way of going.
Also I mostly came on here to talk about the fact that comments still are not back up. It was the easiest way to communicate with people and now it is gone.
Read my stories! You can sort of get around that issue by adding a question mark to the end of your post and then click the "enable replies" slidey thing that appears, you can just delete the question mark after you've published the post.
That is needlessly elaborate. Wellp hard times cause for such measures. I wouldn't be so annoyed if they didn't say they were giving them back.
Read my stories!Unfortunately I think you get a limited number of posts per day that can be "answered" like that.
Tumblr likes limits. Ask limit, post limit, etc.
Stupid doomed timeline...So I finally made a Tumblr blog: kendriaperry.tumblr.com. All my wallpapers and assorted image edits will be posted there. No drama, no muss, no fuss. Check it out, guys!
New XKit has put together this cute little app that basically lets you catch Pokemon on your dashboard.

I haven't gotten the chat feature.
"Lord of time? More like... lord of... slime!"
Oh I think someone has to chat with you?
Tumblr broke everything with an update. Again. The XKit one is getting fixed tonight, at least.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I was wondering why all the icons were suddenly out of whack. Seriously, the sheer ineptitude of tumblr's technical department is a little bit frightening at times.
There's now a message button beside the reblog button on text posts to replace replies! Messaging reached me yesterday. The bug you're talking about doesn't exist for me, maybe it was fixed while I was sleeping. I don't have xkit because I'm lazy.

I tried disabling X Kit, but it’s still like that :( The good news is that it means it’s not Xkit! :) It’s probably the Tumblr staff trying to fix the bugged coding in real-time.
The Protomen enhanced my life. The arrows are under the next and previous buttons and that is strange to me.
I'd like some advice. How do users of this website find time to sleep?
Yeah, and now I have used it. It is okay, I kind of feel weird about the notifications.
