Yeah, it's filled with fangirls and terrible memes, of which I am indistinguishable from, really, but all my best internet friends are on it and it's just....nice. Anyone here use it? Have any favourite blogs?

I read a few gay rights Tumblrs. I don't have an account, but might get one at some point.

I've noticed a few tropers mention joining Tumblr, so I figure a necro is called for.

What the hell is up with Tumblr's new layout. I can't figure it out. How do you see who's following you? Who you're following? Does it still import posts from other feeds?

Tumblr is a really easy way to have a dedicated blog for things you like. I like a lot. Maybe I should make a tumblr for it. Is there an Inception joke here?

The recent storm of spam followers has annoyed me to no end, mainly because it artificially inflates my list of followers. I want to earn those numbers!!

I don't get Tumblr. What does it have over Blogspot or other blog sites? How do people know what stuff is on it?

What separates it from a blog type thing is the spontaneity, I think. It's a place to post whatever silly image macro or animated GIF you found today, or maybe just pictures of stuff you've drawn, or respond to someone else's brief statement. It's not really a place to actually journal your innermost thoughts, like Livejournal, but it doesn't have the sparse, almost Zen-like quality of Twitter, either.

I'm using one now, and it seems to be fairly intuitive.

I've only noticed one thing: the blog seems to not allow comments. Like at all. I don't recall setting an option for that, so I assume that's the default. Unfortunately I don't know how to enable them.

Dantes, on your dashboard, click your blog's name to open that site's dashboard, and then click the settings to the right (in the column, not at the top.) There should be the option there.

Where exactly in the settings is the option to allow comments? Is it one of the boxes you can select? Because when I looked it up on the FAQ it said I needed to install something called Disqis.

...Yes this is Alex19's main account. To explain I normally use this one on my laptop but then I needed to make one so I could view spoilers on my Itouch. I couldn't remember my password/handle combination so I just made a new one and it's easier to just use that one since it's there already.

So one thing I seem to keep finding is posts that Cross the Line Twice. Like, I know I shouldn't be laughing and it's horrible and I'm going to go to hell for laughing but I laugh anyways.

Or maybe it's just the one blog I follow...
