This does fit pretty neatly though to explain away how the number of Old Gods was retconnedfrom five to four.

There's a new build on the PTR. Zuldazar and Tiragarde Sound have been opened for testing, which likely means the new capital cities will be accessible, as well as the Tol Dagor Dungeon.

In terms of datamining one interesting thing I found was that the Draenor Orc Jokes/Flirts were datamined.

This basically confirms that they will be from AU Draenor, though the Mag'har term will still be used. Which does seem a little odd, but the term does just mean "uncorrupted" which means it can just as easily refer to any Draenor Orc that didn't drink demon blood.

Also...I'm not sure what to make of the Orc joke about being trapped on a planet for a few decades with fanatical Draenei. Could be nothing, but it also could mean that we have a timeskip on AU Draenor and things have taken a very nasty turn in the interim regarding Orc/Draenei relations.

There's also male vulpera options, and their customization is far and above just being an NPC race at this point, even wanting them to have some individuality in questing hubs doesn't touch base on how much you can alter with them.

Safe to say they'll be joining us sooner rather than later.

...sethrak please, blizz?

[up] Hard to say at this point. It does feel like Vulpera are being designed with at least with the possibility of them becoming an Allied Race in mind. However I expect the expansion to launch with no more than Zandalari, Dark Iron Dwarves, Kul Tirian Humans, and Draenor Orcs. The latter two might not be available right away, but the data will be in the files and they will become available at some point before the Azshara raid opens.

Not sure about the Sethrekk. Obviously I can't rule anything out, but they don't just have the "playable race" feel to me.

The females' jokes are the only ones that really seem Draenor specific.

Could the fanatical Draenei be a reference to the Aldor?

Likely its a ref to the Kurenai or the Murkblood. The latter did sack Sunspring and were general shits to the Mag'har.

[up][up] Honestly? Not a chance.

When you put it in context with the other jokes/flirts you need to consider all that references to alternate timelines, including one that specifically references the Horde player's garrison in Frostfire, as well as tons of references to clan identity (which the Outland Mag'har don't have a lot of) and basically nothing referencing anything that would be Outland specific.

[up] one of them is "Come on a date with me, and I guarantee you'll be wearing a Black Tooth Grin clan."

Black Tooth Grin clan didn't exist in the alt timeline, only the main timeline as it splintered off as the scouting arm of Blackrock in Azeroth. The Blacktooth were the ones who killed Durotan and later merged with Blackrock after the second war to become the leads of Rend's Dark Horde.

That could just be Blizzard getting confused with the lore. Back during the Wo D alpha/beta, there was a reference in an item to the Stormreavers clan. It wasn't removed until people pointed up that clan didn't exist until WC 2.

Seriously, my avatar comes from the embodiment of the So Bad, It's Good trope.

Now that people can enter Zuldazar they found additional hints towards Zandalari Paladins. There is a group of Prelates who are called holy warriors of the Loa (the T-rex Loa Rezan in specific).

[up][up][up] The explicit reference to the Horde Garrison in Frostfire Ridge to me makes it extremely definitive these are AU Draenor Orcs. Not to mention the references to time travel.

Overall I'm glad Blizzard is going this route. I think having at least one last story in AU Draenor that ties up any remaining loose ends and brings over a bunch of characters into our Azeroth is the best route to go. While an unpopular character can be generally quietly written off, an unpopular setting (that has salvageable elements) needs to be addressed head on.

The reason why I said the line about fanatical Draenei might not mean anything is that it might be referring to the normal levels of Draenei fanaticism that "a couple decades" is how old an Orcish young adult is, and that the Orcs had no means of interplanetary travel before the Dark Portal. Thus turning it into a crack about the whole "forming the Iron Horde" business.

Unique Zandalari Druid forms

Moonkin

Bear

And I'm not going to listen to anything blizzard says they don't intend to have at this point because they flat out lied about Zandalari not getting dinosaur-themed animal forms.

Prophet Zul against my first impression is evil and behind all the $h!t on the Zandalari side? Aww, I hoped he will be a counterpart to Prophet Velen. Imagine that...

@Zandalari "bear" form. No Acid Trip Tiger and Clown Bear? No Zandalari then!

[down]That is covered by travel form and that... moonkin.

I like it, personally. But then I was never particularly enamored with the standard moonkin form

Balance druids should be ok playing a sin against nature by now. [lol]

They couldn't even bother to give the Highmountain moonkin form moose antlers, like they did with the bear and cat forms. I'm going to wait a bit until their's something more official saying this isn't an NPC model.

[up][up][up] That's the problem. They gave 20+ Bear and Cat druid skins this xpac and Balance got shafted with them still having to deal with just the terrible Moonkin skin. Now they put a single different skin in the game but only if you pay for it and/or faction change!

[up][up] Can you really say you're "being forced to pay for it" when it's a small part of an expansion you're liable to get anyway? Or faction change when, at just, you'd worst have to commit the time to make a horde character that fulfills whatever requirements a Zandalari character needs?

The xpac releasing does not give you a free race change and or faction change. A level boost yeah but thats not nearly the same thing.
