You mean Mr. BLADES of LIGHT!? That always gave me a chuckle.
yeah Heroic are supposed to be easy, and Scenarios are supposed to be REALLY easy. it's Challenge modes that are, well challenging
On the lore, the following has piqued my interest:
"Here the Sacred Pools spring pure / Here, seek any who desire cure / Holy, nature, powers divine / Turn death to life, death to life."
Turn death to life. The Sacred Pools are the cure to the plague of undeath. Or that's what it sounds like anyway. I had to put this on the WMG page.

Clearly, this means that the Forsaken are being removed and the Horde is getting humans!
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984They'll be called the Returned or something. But good luck justifying that particular snarl, Blizzard. You already have humans suddenly becoming unable to speak or understand their former language after being raised, and Pandaren who lose the ability to communicate with their own species when choosing sides. Why not add a second faction of humans who can't talk to each other for arbitrary lore reasons?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yes, it would really be a train wreck all over again. I'm probably wrong about it, but if I'm not then I hope it will at least be entertaining.
I just try not to think about Gutterspeak.
With Gutterspeak, I just assume it's a lower, less class version of common, that humans could theoretically understand. Being a Human we, the players, have common translated for us but not any other language, being Forsaken we have Guttrspeak translated for us and nothing else, and so on. The two language at least in theory are very similar.
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"I think the official explanation is that the decaying throats and tongues of the Forsaken make their speech unintelligible to humans. So basically it's like having a really really thick accent. Although that doesn't explain why they can't understand Common.
That's what addons like Tongues are for :P
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"Oh yeah, they can't speak common with them, but learn orcish just fine.
Well, that was fast. Patch 5.1 will be launching on the PTR soon. As of now, there seems to be no new dungeon or raid content in the works, but there will be the gear upgrading with Valor points that was promised, new Pet Battles features, a Brawler's Guild (solo monster battles in an arena format), the first escalation of the Horde vs. Alliance conflict, and more Wrathion.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I for one am hoping they don't turn Wrathion into a villain.
The guy who hands out your legendary gems turning into a villain? I highly doubt it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well, Varimathras handed out quests, and he's dead. Or as dead as you can get for a Dreadlord.
Based on the achievements (the achievements for future Wrathion storylines are already in the game, they just read "to be continued later" or some such), it looks like there will be one other black dragon out there up to mischief, and you have to help Wrathion stop him or her.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Actually, they said from the start Wrathion is here to keep the black flight as villains. I recall hearing recently that he might be more of an Anti-Villain. He's playing us for fools right now for his, and maybe the world's benefit.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I don't see why they have to stay villains :(
The point of Wrathion's existence is that the Black Dragonflight was irreversibly tainted by Deathwing's corruption. All black dragons, no matter where they are in the world, are doomed to follow in his path, except for this one pristine dragon who managed to avoid the taint.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Level 45 Gnome monk. Instances are becoming really tempting to just chainrun now that groups of 5 monks can aoe down entire pulls in seconds while levelling.

They never said Wrathion was around to keep them villans.

They were talking about his narrative purpose. The idea is that Blizzard added Wrathion so they can point to him and say, "See, here's a good black dragon." (Well, neutral at least.) This then allows them to keep the rest of the black dragons Always Chaotic Evil.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Regardless of whether or not he's corrupted, it would still be a personal choice for the Black Prince himself to be good or evil. Being the Last of His Kind could logically give him an inflated view of his importance.
Well, based on his little speech he gives you, Wrathion seems to be a big picture kind of guy. He doesn't care about our petty wars or the conquering of Pandaria, he just cares about preventing the Burning Legion from blowing up the planet. So we're his allies as long as we can help him do that. If he goes "evil" it would likely be the Well-Intentioned Extremist sort.
The heroics in general are pretty easy. There's exactly one boss that I've ever seen any group wipe on, and that's the spinning guy from Scarlet Halls, when new people aren't expecting it. Other than that, most of them have very forgiving mechanics.
Well, the Sha of Violence in Shado-pan Monastery seems to strain the healers a lot, so I guess that's an honorable mention.
