It makes me feel like I've missed out on some magical zeitgeist!
The NES days were awesome. Everything was so much happier then. No crime or pollution or corruption or Nickelback or anything.
no one will notice that I changed thisBut wasn't the USSR a button-press away from blowing up the world back then? Or so they said?

I don't know about anyone else, but I assumed that to be an impossibility. Why would anyone blow up the world?
no one will notice that I changed this^^ Yeah, I'd hate to see what would happen if someone happened to release a whole bunch of red balloons that looked like a nuke on the radar...
(See that? Another reference I'm technically too young to get.)
^ Because, if I can't have it my way, NO ONE IS GONNA HAVE IT ANY WAY!!!

Heapers’ Hangout^^Because nuclear devastation, that's why. Better we do it than them!
I dunno, I always figured that nuclear armageddon wasn't something I should worry about. It's quite unlikely, and if it did happen there's nothing I could do to avoid being wiped out. So why worry?
no one will notice that I changed thisHaving a button that could destroy the world would be neat.
I'd be tempted to use it, though.
Heapers’ HangoutScary part, to me. Though it being unlikely is a relief.
Also I just realized we're almost having a political discussion.
/needs to read up on the Reagan Administration.

I am now imagining Charlotte with a big red Blow Up The World button.
Scary.
no one will notice that I changed this^ I know, right?
Heapers’ HangoutGah. We're essentially the same person and yet opposites. This is confusing.
Well you think a "blow up the world button" would be funny and I think it would be disturbing, for one...
Is that the new hangout?

Why would we need to blow up the world anyway?
We wouldn't. That's why the idea is funny to me: it doesn't make sense.
Heapers’ HangoutIf you have an extra world to inhabit. Like the sex moon.

Now, to balance that out: You know what makes me feel young? Watching The Angry Video Game Nerd. Mainly because he talks about the NES days like it's an experience everyone has.
