Your ability to shade angers me because I can't shade like at all.
Also, the texture on everything looks phenominal, but the papers on the table look a bit off, and the pen (is that a pen?) off to the left's angle is weird. It looks like it's dipping into the table.
In summary, 9/10 would hang on fridge.

Edit: Do quoteblock tags not work anymore? The markup help doesn't reflect that...

Project progress: The Adroan (102k words), The Pigeon Witch, (40k). Done but in need of reworking: Yume Hime, (50k)Quoteblocks broke in the code change and probably won't be fixed for a while. They aren't supposed to be gone, though.
Also, thank you!

Project progress: The Adroan (102k words), The Pigeon Witch, (40k). Done but in need of reworking: Yume Hime, (50k)I am looking for an art community if someone could recomend me one. I don't exactly mean places like deviantart or conceptart becuase they are way too big and overwhelming.
Of course I love this place and will keep being here, but I think tv tropes is more writter oriented than anything else .
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Permanoobs and Crimson Daggers are pretty good.
First time drawing a girl wearing hijab.◊ I don't think I did too bad of a job.
I would like to ask you some help guys. I am very frustaed at my inability to draw bodies. I am trying following vilppu's drawing manual... but any artistic advice to improve would be apreciated .
@Fancolors
I forgot to thank you, but thanks!

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Well, what problems are you having specifically?

Be not afraid...Fancolors: What's "Crimson Daggers"?
Loni: Both of your links went to the same page... :P
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable@Loni
basically everything. But my hardest issue is having the head on the right size relative to the head.
For example this drawing: I had to heavily reference a model from a photo and it still looks off
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.The head size looks alright to me (on the large-side but not very much), but I agree with Loni on the shoulders. I think the base of the neck is also not quite centered, so the whole area looks off balanced.
It sounds pretty hollow since it's what everyone says, but there's no special secret to drawing (people or otherwise) besides practicing it. It's kind of hard to give general pointers since it will eventually just lead back to "Practice more". For specific things, it's easier... regarding realistic head size I usually heard that the shoulders will be between 2*(width of head from left to right) up to 2*(height of head from top to chin) - tending narrow for women and wider for men.
Drawing from a reference/(live) models is probably the most tried and true way to get better at drawing, so definitely keep doing that. Also, if you don't feel like you're learning too much from Vilppu's material then you can always look at other resources - not all of them will be useful right now but there's many good things in there. Proko and Sycra are well known Youtubers with art tutorials and I'm sure there are many more if you search around.
Sorry this didn't end up giving much specific advice... hopefully it helped at least a little?
Tumblr here. Thanks for the advice guys.I will try to be more specific next time.
BTWI would like to ask you girls something: Is this guy handsome? (100% iphone drawing) I tried to draw a pretty "bishie" man for someone.
Though to be honest I usually don't draw those kind of things .

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.I deleted most of the bone lines. Does it look better ?
Keep in mind He is supposed to look lean
Not looking for a full critique just trying to draw a handsome guy
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Well everyone has different ideas of attractiveness...I am not really a fan of the puckery lips. Plus his eye goes off the side of his face which would be a turn off for me, personally.
On a general sense I disagree. There is a beauty standard culturally a population recognizes even if individual opinion varies. There is a reason Bradd Pitt, Justin Biebwr and Tom Cruise are recognized as attractive worldwide.
However I am thankful of your opinion on my work .

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.
Step 1: Do this in Photoshop.
Step 2: Print it.
Step 3: Paperclip or tape it to the underside of the sheet you're going to draw on. It helps if you use a thin piece of paper, but I used regular copy paper.
The grid will be just barely visible through the top piece of paper, which you can now draw on.
Also, part of the reason I didn't have to re-draw anything was because I made a (very rough) sketchup model of the kitchen beforehand, so I at least knew where all the furniture and cabinets would be.
Finished result, for the record.
