Yo, I've got some art, but not that much, I also haven't colored anything since the finned dragon. I've just been focused on brainstorming and designing. Because theres nothing like spending time on a piece only for me to want to redesign it again. Which is why I have lots of black and whites and only color when I know its truly the final design.
My best piece in the past week, done today. Finally, "Movie" version of the Flower and Ninja from the comic.
Me brainstorming various designs of the Princess, the bee, and Ice lady. Princess, bee, and Ice lady.
More brainstorming, this time the princess and knight.
Now for some so-so designs. Unfinished designs.
A failed attempt at the Flower and Ninja.
In this work, the Princess was okay but something was wrong with the knight.
And this just looks weird. Weird Helm.
My Twitter!Ear shields!
But seriously Fulgrate, I envy you so much. You with your ability to traw so simply, it makes rage biol inside of me. Not to mention the massive difference in one of your sketches, and a finished picture of yours.
One of these days I'll finally finish the final version of "Darkly"... One of these days.
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.@Fulgrate lovely art as always and more princess drawings:) with is always great.
I try to convert my envy into inspiration and hard work, you show try that.
Practicing perspective is so boring!so I drew Marceline with a luna shirt just for fun :) and not to die out of boredom

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Very nice!
Shadow Dimentio: Thank you. I think everybody has that hidden potential. Whatever their simplest drawing is, if they put a lot of time into it, it will turn into something amazing.
Fallen Legend: Thank you, and awesome marceline drawing.
Jabrosky: Nice art, and I use to love Ornithomimus, part of the North American Fauna of Dinosaurs. The asian equivalent was the Gallimimus. Over there, instead of T-rex, Tarbosaurus.

Something I worked on for an hour. Setting up the base for something that will be detailed. I call it the Greater Horned Dragon.

My DeviantArt Domain My TumblrAnd now for something completely different...
Tarbosaurus and the Corpse Flowers
My DeviantArt Domain My TumblrOh dear, I hope I haven't killed this thread.
Anyway, here's a drawing of Egyptian Queens Hatshepsut and Cleopatra VII that proved surprisingly popular on Tumblr.
My DeviantArt Domain My TumblrI really like the tarbosaur smelling the not-rafflesias. :D ^_^
HEY HEY GUESS WHAT? I have (intermittent, negotiable) scanner access now! AND ALSO I HAVE DISCOVERED HOW TO USE COLOUR LEVELS IN GIMP. COLOUR LEVELS ARE◊ STRANGE AND WONDROUS MAGIC.◊
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableAfter a terrible bout with Art Block and overall laziness, I think I scrapped together something passable for Halloween.
Feel free to look around. And now that Halloween has passed, here's something for the next major American holiday.
Also, Julius Caesar with Cleopatra VII.
@ Noaqiyeum
I rather like the drawing with the bagpipes, although I honestly don't know what color levels do.

Halloween was good this year.
http://www.longcriercat.deviantart.com I'm thirsty. Got any ink? Resident Pen Ward antagonist.Nice hatching technique on the second picture!
My DeviantArt Domain My TumblrColour levels basically allow me to adjust the darkness of the various parts of the picture on a scale. Pencil can't create a deep black, and scanners tend not to recognise even untouched paper as pure white, so the actual values used are sort of clumped together in the middle of the possible full greyscale. By adjusting the colour levels I can tell the computer Any part of the picture that is this dark or darker, let it be black! Any part of the picture that is this light or lighter, let it be white! And let the colours lighter than the new black and darker than the new white become diverse shades of grey, according to the curve I have defined which relates the current values to the new values according to a mathematical function! And lo, and it is done! :D
It is a LOT better than fussing about with brightness and contrast like I had been doing before.
EDIT: For example: this◊ is what the original scan looked like, this◊ is what it looked like after playing with brightness and contrast, and [1]◊ this is what it looks like when I play with the levels instead.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableSo yeah, remember that story I said I was writing way back when? No, not the one about gods and such, the one about zombies. Yes, that one. Well, no, it's not done. Still, I have finally gotten around to finish writing the next part, and published it! Read on up!
There's only about 1/4 of the paper to go, so I'll be there soon~

A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.Okay, these are just doodles, but - how far out of the Uncanny Valley is this?
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThey seem plenty humanish to me.
Gonna stop by the library scanner today. Hopefully update my art for the first time since summer.

Read my stories!I am looking forward for it.
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Hmm. I'll have to try harder.
Also, please do! I was just thinking that it had been a while since you'd posted anything here!
More experiments with colour levels◊

@Snowy I watched you whole gallery sometime ago and I must say that I see a nice improvement here. Keep practicing!
