Don't worry, you were stabbed from the front. It'll only do about 40-ish damage, because what the fuck, knives don't hurt. Just shoot the guy and you'll be fine.

On third thought, perhaps this topic is a better place to put this.

I drew the hero of one of my stories, Ozzy, as he appears in the University CDT.◊ His hood is supposed to provide more darkness over his eyes, but it is very difficult for me to make a non messy shade that dark with graphite.

I can't tell you guys how good this feels. I've been on a drawing hiatus since around March, and now I've got the time, will, and skill to go at it again.

And I guess my skill in shading is there to counterbalance my constant struggle with figures.

Sounds like a party. I blame my terribly unsteady hand, and a knack for not noticing glaring shape mistakes until it's far too late to fix without erasing a chunk of everything else.

I'm really, really good at drawing faces, and heads. Everything else of mine, however, is absolute trash.

I'll join in the style appreciation. You really do have a nice once, Fulgrate. Also, I like Talby's propaganda poster, a good propaganda poster is always fun to draw up.

I've got another round of (mostly) head sketches. I've been working on faces but I might try something else/more for next time.

And a major character later on that is aDragon that fights using fists for melee combat instead of claws like a normal dragon would.

I have a few more head sketches I don't think I posted yet. The one at the top and the bottom are supposed to be the same person... but the one on the bottom is older and wearier. Not sure if I quite pulled that off.

And here's some really terrible full body sketches. Still, I might try to fix the most glaring errors and clean them up a bit.

Also, Fulgrate, your stuff reminds me a bit of Evan Dahm's, any chance he's an influence?

Fedora Pirate, I really like your style! This is my favourite one so far (I dig the waistcoat). Your work with clothing, poses and hair is excellent.

My one nitpick is that you tend to draw faces from the same angle - facing slightly to the side and angled downwards.

Yes, I know we have a WIP thread, but no one reads it, so I'm putting it here.

She looks much more like Rorschach than I realized while drawing it (I had no idea he also wore a scarf and belt outside of his coat), but I guess it's OK, since Rorschach is an intentional ripoff.
