Don't worry, you were stabbed from the front. It'll only do about 40-ish damage, because what the fuck, knives don't hurt. Just shoot the guy and you'll be fine.
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.@ Noaqiyeum Love your cartoony style!

My DeviantArt Domain My TumblrOn third thought, perhaps this topic is a better place to put this.
I drew the hero of one of my stories, Ozzy, as he appears in the University CDT.◊ His hood is supposed to provide more darkness over his eyes, but it is very difficult for me to make a non messy shade that dark with graphite.
I can't tell you guys how good this feels. I've been on a drawing hiatus since around March, and now I've got the time, will, and skill to go at it again.

But seriously, nice picture.
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.Thank you both, I really really appreciate it. Response keeps me motivated.
And I guess my skill in shading is there to counterbalance my constant struggle with figures.
this place needs me hereJoin the club of terrible figure drawers. We have amazing gift baskets!
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.Sounds like a party. I blame my terribly unsteady hand, and a knack for not noticing glaring shape mistakes until it's far too late to fix without erasing a chunk of everything else.
this place needs me hereI'm really, really good at drawing faces, and heads. Everything else of mine, however, is absolute trash.
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.Something Medieval.◊ You're probably asking right about now what I was drawing this for. I'll tell ya later.

My Twitter!I like your style, Fulgate. :o
Me too, I see a lot of potential on that story :)
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.I'll join in the style appreciation. You really do have a nice once, Fulgrate. Also, I like Talby's propaganda poster, a good propaganda poster is always fun to draw up.
I've got another round of (mostly) head sketches. I've been working on faces but I might try something else/more for next time.
"They called me mad, I called them mad, and damn them, they outvoted me." - Nathaniel Lee, playwright, upon being committed to Bedlam^^Thanks, Tidal Wave 17, Fallen Legend, and Fedora Pirate. I appreciate the appreciation.
^Thats some good head shape variety there! Especially with the details on the face like the nose.

To be fair, I used a visual aid for the shirt by using one of my own collections of Tie-Dyed T-Shirts.
(There was a sale going on...)
Just floating around...Thanks, Noaqiyeum!
I have a few more head sketches I don't think I posted yet. The one at the top and the bottom are supposed to be the same person... but the one on the bottom is older and wearier. Not sure if I quite pulled that off.
And here's some really terrible full body sketches. Still, I might try to fix the most glaring errors and clean them up a bit.
Also, Fulgrate, your stuff reminds me a bit of Evan Dahm's, any chance he's an influence?
"They called me mad, I called them mad, and damn them, they outvoted me." - Nathaniel Lee, playwright, upon being committed to BedlamFedora Pirate, I really like your style! This is my favourite one so far (I dig the waistcoat). Your work with clothing, poses and hair is excellent.
My one nitpick is that you tend to draw faces from the same angle - facing slightly to the side and angled downwards.
"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajPencil sketch done after several painful hours. Now, time to ink.◊
Yes, I know we have a WIP thread, but no one reads it, so I'm putting it here.
She looks much more like Rorschach than I realized while drawing it (I had no idea he also wore a scarf and belt outside of his coat), but I guess it's OK, since Rorschach is an intentional ripoff.
