We never saw much of them either, though. And they seem to be getting crushed by Weevil, though we don't know how strong Weevil is either.
Let's give to Urouge though, the darkhorse. Only one who made a real dent.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Share the Urouge indeed.

I suppose this is why Kid didn't want to go after Big Mom; she was too much for him. The same for Apoo apparently. Well, dealing with Shanks probably wouldn't have gone better for them than Big Mom or Kaido did.
If only because Shanks is the one less likely to kill you and everything vaguely connected to you?
Huh, I forgot there's a manga that's still ongoing.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyHuh if his last apperance takes place after the confrontation then no wonder Urouge was heavily bandaged.
I guess we know which Nova is gonna team up with Luffy now. Law always said taking down an Emperor required more than one man.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The only Worst Generation that seems poised to act is Bege
Has the anime team ever addressed why they don't do ending songs anymore? You'd think that if they were so desperate to fill time in order to keep up the 1:1 chapter to episode thing, a two minute ED would be practical.
I mean, I guess some people might complain that an ED would mean even less episode content after a double-length OP and extended recap that stalls each episode for a good 5-7 minutes. Most people would probably agree, though, that taking two minutes worth of prolonged reaction shots and general time filling fluff out of every episode would drastically improve the pace of the action.
I miss the endings. They were cute and made for a decent cooldown. Hell, just thinking about them is making me feel nostalgic.
"When I was alive, I was a tender soul. Now, I am tenderloin." -Nanako (Senryuu Shoujo)Man the chapters are getting good. I also have a question about the Big Mom crew. Would it make sense to put the family members into a different folder? I would do myself but I would probably mess up the page.
Personally I think that all of the major crews should have their own pages. Smaller ones that aren't likely to grow anymore (like the Black Cat Pirates or Don Krieg's armada) should stay on generic pages. Sticking everyone on only a few pages is just too cluttered and unwieldy.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsAt least the anime updated their post-opening reel for the first time since 2012.
Also I didnt get that in the manga, Carrot was faster than ZORO. I finally get why people want her to join.

Ditto. I was only really interested in Carrot because she checked off a lot of boxes that Monet and Jinbe also do for a bit more diversity on the team:
- Does not look fully human
- Has a unique or rare power set
- Isn't a fruit user (Jinbe)
- Can fly (Monet)
- Female (Monet)
I find it a bit of a copout when a Ragtag Bunch of Misfits team in a diverse setting is still predominantly light-skinned human males).
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAre you counting Usopp as light-skinned? I mean, your point stands either way, but I'm just trying to do the math at the moment.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."He wasn't at first, but he is now, making him this odd hybrid of "Japan values light skinned individuals more" and "Japan is really kinda horrible in their depiction of darker skinned individuals".
The sad, REAL American dichotomyEh I never saw Carrot as crew-mate potential.
Sure she's a good ally now but that's what she is.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."It is definitely odd that two of the darker-skinned characters lightened up a bit over the timeskip. In Robin's case you could argue hiding in the dark with the revolutionaries, but Usopp was stuck on a tropical island.
Wasn't Robin always supposed to be pretty light and the anime made her darker. I'm pretty sure that's a thing.
Yes, Robin was supposed to have light skin. The anime gave her darker skin for her pre-timeskip appearance. This means that her current skin color is more accurate to what the manga intended.
Which is... "Yay?"
So, for a certain value of white, of the 9 person crew:
- 4 are basically "White guys" (also possibly the 4 strongest)
- 2 more are white women
- 1 is based on Ambiguously Brown real human being Slash, and no longer even has skin,
- 1 is a brown guy in the oh-so-sensitive Japanese way, but then got lightened up anyway. Also, Oda said he'd be from the "country of Africa"
- One's non-human
It's just kinda weak.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyClearly we need the pale Ceasar to complete the set.
Secret Signature
All the commanders were apparently around the same strength so that was always unlikely. In their case, more prominent didn't translate into more powerful.
