Is it just me or is Tristen getting less stupid? I swear he makes more sense than the Pharaoh in this episode. I can't belive I'm writing this with a straight face.

Pretty good episode. Amusingly, the episodes happen super infrequently, but the speed of the content being covered is breakneck.

Would be nice if he dropped the Bayou voice for the Big Bad. For me, at least, it's gotten very tired.

Better than his first voice.

I stopped watching the original show around the time everyone was in the fantasy world and there was a female Mokuba or something. I don't even know what's going on right now.

Oh, that was just a crappy filler arc that wasn't in the manga. Well, okay, so is the Doma saga (what's currently being abridged), but it at least doesn't involve a genderswapped Mokuba...

This arc is basically "wait no don't start the final arc yet!"

This arc and the next arc though at least this arc has steaks, the next one is just a pointless tournament arc.

Actually, only the blimp interludes in Battle City have steaks, but Yami Bakura quickly eats them.

If I recall right the manga's final arc was still being serialized around the time so they did the filler to stall until they could catch up.

They should have found something for either of the Bakuras to do XD They're so left out!

Oh God, I forgot there was another tournament arc in the Anime. I guess that's how forgettable it was.

Kaiba had that Crowning Moment Of Awesome where he screwed over what's-his-face in one turn.

I do have one question though. How do Marik's skills with opening doors compare to Yami's title of the King of Doors?

Yatem doesn't need to command doors to open. They already know better.

Just a question: are the filler arc really bad? I have seen a lot of people decrying about it but so far neither orichalcos and noa arc where that bad(actually they where quite good) the grand prize on the other hand is totally filler in every sense of the word

I thought parts of the filler arcs were good, but overall they really killed the show's pacing and made the plot needlessly convoluted, so I can see why people hate them.

Now GX's filler, on the other hand, is just crap.

To be fair, so is the rest of GX.
