Clearly, they need to turn more of the duels into montages.

I honestly think lk should just end ygotas now, or after one more episode.

But the show is funniest when it's doing the complete nonsense plotlines! Though I do think the Grand Championship arc should just be skimmed over in a quick "Card Game Channel" episode like the Duelist Kingdom finals were.

I just realized something...

Did we ever see Zigfried or whatever his name is in any of LK's videos? Because I can't remember him at all.

I know his little brother showed up once.

I don't recall Zigfried Loyd aka Zigfried non Schroeder (and yes, I actually remembered his name without having to look it up, how lame) ever showing up in the series. Though I don't really blame LK. He already had some stereotypical Nazis in his videos. HAIL KAIBA! Though he could probably come up with a new gimmick for the character easily. I mean just look at Dartz.

I still want him to do that arc though, if for no other reason than the character of Vivian Wong, a palate-swapped Chun-Li who jobs in her first match IIRC, is a skilled masseuse/chiropractor and tries to blackmail Yugi into becoming her love slave (not even kidding).

It is slightly possible LK will maybe make fun of the fact that Zigfried could possibly if you close your eyes and squint be seen as a little gay.

Well, I just spent eight minutes laughing.

You know, I'm lame enough that I would watch a remake of the original series. Although I'd also appreciate it if they took more from the original manga/first series so we could see some more of the stuff at the beginning that made Atem scary.

I think the original really wouldn't work now because the card battles would be so amazingly boring. These days if you have any monster without at least three different effects, a XYZ, a Synchro, and a provision allowing you to slap your opponent in the face if he whistles, you'd chuck it in the bin. And we're going back to when "Holy shit, you have a Red Eyes Black Dragon"?

Yes, but the rules were also all kinds of crazy. Attacking the moon makes no sense, but it's still really cool.

However, in retrospect I realize they'd never make this hypothetical recut because they couldn't market new cards with it.

Actually it's now possible to attack the moon in the card game as well.

They totally could market new cards, one of the recent sets released was Dragons of Legend which was based on the DOMA arc and other cards from the anime that hadn't been made yet.

A remake could alter the cards effects to match the real world versions they release and then money.

Yeah, that would be awesome. But probably too awesome to ever happen...

But hey, they're making a Tag Force game with all five series in it, and they've been making a bunch of new Blue-Eyes / Dark Magician support lately. Maybe there's more of a future for classic Yugioh than it seems.

Man, Red-Eyes sucked when he was new. 2 sacrifices for something that still loses to Summoned Skull.

I've still completely lost all interest until they start supporting the Aliens archetype again. I that way, and it sucks that they never even got a spot in the show.

...What? There are about a gazillion Yugioh archetypes, and you only care about one? One obscure archetype out of thousands of available cards? And you really shouldn't expect every single card in the game to appear in the anime (not that the writers don't try and cram in as much product placement as possible).

So Littlekuriboh aka Martin has been posting weekly videos where he details his own struggle with depression (Which he's currently in recovery for).

He calls those videos "We're still here" and they are pretty interesting. Besides talking about how he's doing he recounts stories of things that make him happy - the first episode covers his meeting with Team Four Star.

I'm looking forward to seeing Dartz on a regular basis, though I wonder if the Council of Doom episodes will be brought up at some point. I also hope that the episode where Rex and Weevil join the group as Guest Star Party Members is called ''Rex and Weevil Do America''

Is he going to stick to the Council characterizations for Dartz's gang? Because I'm wondering how well that would work for the actual series.

I hope he doesn't. I don't get the references and Dartz isn't really funny to me in those videos.

I didn't get the reference either (nor all the other Adult Swim references he loves putting in the series) but I thought Dartz was still super funny.

I wonder when YGOTAS is gonna get around to referencing Arc-V?
