...I think that may be a bit beyond Hina's abilities. The best she can really do for someone is remove their misfortune.

That is all she did. She just removed a lot of misfortune.

The "interact with another session" thing seems like one of those Million to One Chance things that could happen, but almost never does. But the inverse of misfortune is good luck, possibly enough to allow the impossibly rare to ocurr.

I've actually thought about a crossover between the two before, silly as it sounds. Here's my *cough* take on the creation of Gensokyo:

Long in the past, there was an earth in which humans and youkai both lived, though they warred constantly. One day, disaster unrelated to those conflicts struck: A game called Sburb. Four friends rose to the challenge: Yukari Yakumo, a not-all-that-ancient youkai with powers comparable to Maribel Han (who is in fact an alternate universe clone or her or something); Yuyuko Saigori (or however you spell it), a former human turned ghost with the power to grant death (and a guaranteed ghost afterlife) to anyone, as in canon; Suika Ibuki, an exceptionally strong oni (though without her hax powers), and ____ Hakurei, a human shrine maiden with not much power to speak of but who was on good terms with the other three. After a series of trials, they eventually completed the game of sburb, gaining the power levels they're known for in canon in the process; they were the Seer of Boundaries, the Queen of Life, the Maker of Space and the Guardian of Light (though with some effort Yukari figured out a way to time travel anyways).

However, there was something the normal formula didn't account for: Yuyuko in her backstory had already dealt with the pain of being responsible for people's deaths and taken it so badly she committed suicide by using her power on herself and vowed never to use it again. So she wasn't able to just ignore what happened to the rest of the world like a good little girl and take a new universe as consolation, and made sure the others didn't either. Eventually, Yukari came up with a solution: She went back in time to a few moments before the earth was destroyed, and with help from the others (especially Suika) ripped her entire home country of Gensokyo right out and made sure it became the "new" universe. The rest of the world still died, but at least almost everyone they'd ever met was saved, and more importantly they could tell themselves they saved lives rather than destroying the world. As a result of this action, the world they created was far, far smaller than it was supposed to be.

Yukari realized that the general public knowing what happened would be disasterous. It was Hakurei who came up with the solution: That solution being, of course, to manufacture the story to which you are all accustomed. Yukari and Hakurei took active roles in the false story of Gensokyo, Hakurei even assigning her bloodline the role of "protecting" its division from the outside world; Yuyuko and Suika were content to be left unmentioned, since linking all four of them would just raise the chances of someone learning the truth. Yukari even took the bold step of finding an unrelated but similar universe to her own, one with no meteors in sight, and manufacture a fake weak "border" between the two, which would periodically "fail" to prevent people crossing, to help the illusion, and lied about her own history to better fit her new role.

But perhaps some day, perhaps even some day soon, will the meteors return to Gensokyo? If so, what then?

On a sillier and less thought out note, if Rose is Yukari then Chen is Vodka Mutini.

Your funny quote here! (Maybe)

Why does ZUN draw his characters so skinny when they're actually really chubby?

There seems to be some Touhou love among the music talent.

Coincidence you might say. . .

But then listen to Heir Conditioning, and notice parts sound familiar.
