The "Avatar is a Master of None" thing never sat well with me. They can specialize less, sure, but they can still go toe-to-toe with any master of an individual element on its own. Both Aang and Korra (and presumably the rest) are incredibly naturally talented (thanks Wan!), and each mastered several advanced forms of bending. I think it's fair to assume that given time, an Avatar could master all forms of bending (save those requiring an inborn trait like Yakone's bloodline or P'li's whatever it is).
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I believe that's true, but as much of a natural as Korra is, she has trouble when she's actually required to buckle down and train. She's still young, though.
Happy pants feeling..
I don't think the show drew Korra that buff. Not that either of these things are related, but still, I notice it in a lot of fanart.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Nope, I'd say that's exactly how Korra looked in the show. I remember one of the first things I noticed in the show was how muscled and toned she was, especially compared to most action girls. Heck just compare her to Katara for example. The series was not afraid to show off how buff Korra was.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Yeah she was always that buff but the show always showed off her back than her abs.
Oh really when? There were times I think where you could kinda see her abs through her shirt though.
She had a nice back you gotta admit.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Korra was definitely that buff in the show.
Oh God! Natural light!I think she was, it just wasn't as emphasized as it usually is in fanart. Hell, I don't think she ever showed off more than her arms, anyway.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.There was a perfect opportunity for a swimsuit scene in season 1 but they passed.
I wish Project Voicebend would do another episode.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Korra was super fit. Even with only her back and shoulders you could see the difference with every other female character. To get a proper live Korra, you'd probably need to pick a professionnal heptathlonian like Jessica Ennis-Hill or Nafissatou Thiam.
On an unrelated note, I should get my Beifong tattoo in less than two weeks.
I remember someone complaining about Korra being an "unrealistic" body image ideal for girls because she's so muscular. Made me roll my eyes hard. Because, you know, there's just so much representation for muscular women everywhere, and the ideal body image for a girl is to be very muscular. Obviously. (The person in question did have a hate-on for Korra, and actively wished Asami was the avatar instead, for some reason. Maybe she was just grasping for more reasons to hate on Korra, IDK.)
Anyway, I love Korra's muscles.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Korra has an admitted following in female muscle art apparently.
Which is also a thing I didn't know existed till Korra came out.

I mean, just about the only muscular fictional females I know of are Korra and Zarya so they don't exactly have many choices.
But yeah, that sounds like they were just desperate to justify their hatred for Korra.
That's not surprising. Her muscles are glorious.

Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Off the top of my head, the only time that it wasn't played for freakishness was the Amazon from Dragon's Crown, and that's because the designer is actively into buff women.
The Hot Amazon that is into men (or in Korra's case, both) is such a rare trope that I actively enjoy seeing it when it appears.

Korra was ripped and stacked in Book 1 only. Serious size reduction on all fronts.
Find the Light in the DarkAnd subsequently I didn't like them as much.

I don't think that's right.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.She was ripped the whole freaking series, dunno what the heck you're talking about.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Save for Season 4 IIRC.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Maybe it's the the clothing she wears that make it hard to notices.
35 year old white man.She did have months of atrophy to go through before book 4, so it's understandable.
