[up][up]Actually, he doesn't. He just ends up raising his voice at Candace out of urgency, but he doesn't get angry or break down over it. The moment is lampshaded by Buford though (which was one of the funniest parts of the episode).

But anyway, it was awesome. It did start out kind of slow, but it ended up being a great watch. Lots of funny moments and even though there's less songs than the other specials, they were both pretty good. One thing that bugged me though was because Save Summer is airing first, the reference to The Klimpaloon Ultimatum in the episode ends up revealing what happens in it instead of it being a touching moment (also there was a reference about some giant bird pecking houses, but that doesn't match anything we have). It isn't the episode's fault of course, but it did kind of take me out of it.

That aside though, it was great!

I liked how Love Muffin was actually serious and competent this time around.

I was going to make a comment on that, but then I realized I had confused them with Love Handel.

I just saw a preview for the Star Wars special. Unfortunately, it didn't say the air date but it did have Candace singing a song.

Operation Crumb Cake aired in the Netherlands (in English too). Overall it was a good episode - had its funny moments and stuff of course, though when I realised what the title referred to, I was like "...wha?" Seriously, I don't know why, but Isabella calling Phineas her "crumb cake" is weird. I mean I know they were probably going to do this with Isabella eventually and that people have weird nicknames for each other in real life, but still... wha? Also, I realised the whole Phineas getting hit by the inator and going in reverse was straight out of Misperceived Monotreme, though when I compared Candace's instance of going in reverse to clean everything up compared to this, I'm starting to think it might so similar that it might actually be a nod to it. Lastly, who knew Ferb could be a smartass? :P

wild mass guess She'll get stuck inside a video game as "Queen Candi" and her brothers will find they need to "bust" her by proving to her that she's violating one of the rules of the video game.

So, Saving Summer finally aired today; I liked it. I thought it was very funny, though to me, it felt more like a longer episode than a genuine special. Not that that's particularly a BAD thing...

I hoped that this would end the series, but that would be asking too much.

Am I the only one who found the ending to be rushed?

[up]There was a lot going on in the final segment. But then again, this is a show that features two or three plots and a musical number in a regular 11 minutes.

Lots of funny moments, though, including Candace overreacting to her fear of spiders as she is wont to do, Phineas's pep talk which didn't really help that cause, the two OWCA vs. LOVEMUFFIN brawls, "Directed by Buford Van Stomm", Irving's campfire song, and grilled cheese ice cream because to Hell with Candace's dairy allergy.

wild mass guessThe ending gives the sense that LOVEMUFFIN will just turn on Doofenshmirtz at some point, forcing him into at least an Enemy Mine situation with Perry if not a full-blown Heel–Face Turn. Maybe that'll happen in one of the other specials?

Never be normal.

Yeah, it was pretty funny. With the Doof thing, it wouldn't be surprising if they did have him leave LOVE MUFFIN eventually.

Also, is it just me, or has Stacy become some sort of Butt-Monkey? I mean, she's experienced Candace leaving her a lot of times this season, One Good Turn implied that Ginger was the favourite sister, and now she just gets bitten by that spider and is stuck in hospital. Or maybe I'm just overanalysing. :P

If this airs on June 20th, why do so many see it already?

I wonder if Candi will spend every waking moment either with or talking on the phone with her OTP in the Star Wars special, or if that only applies to the main timeline?

I saw the Father's Day episode and I thought it was really sweet. I especially liked seeing Doofenshmirtz sort of make up with his father by finding the family lawn gnome.

Save Summer was solid, and I liked Father's Day even though they didn't resolve the main plot in the episode proper. Which was stupid.

Just finished watching the return of the rogue rabbit on Disney XD I thought it was pretty good. I especially liked Isabella's initial reaction when Phineas suggested taking the puppet show to the next step. The giant puppet was quite creepy though.

In SS, Stacy takes a bullet for Candi, then comes up with a lame excuse for how she can't get out of her hospital bed to attend to the whims of her mistress.

And this isn't Unrequited Love Lasts Forever because...?

I think we have to consider that the writers have lost their minds.
