One of my favorite manga, and probably one of the best running in Shonen Jump right now.

So anyone else here read/like/dislike this ol' boy?

Why did I suddenly think of Full Metal Alchemist?

So, I like how Grana's power is so strong, but so simple.

I'm midway through reading it now. It reminds me a lot of Hunter X Hunter. Compare Nemesis Q's "game" to Greed Island, the calling cards to Hunter's Licenses, and the Tavoo to Chimera Ants. On a less superficial note, there's great strategic fights and a sense of actual danger. I'll keep reading this as a substitute for Hx H, which has apparently been abandoned by its creator.

Well, that's probably not going to last. I imagine we'll get a few chapters and then another hiatus, like always.

On the subject of Psyren itself, it's a pretty good shounen series, although it's slightly confusing right now because I can hardly remember any of the villains, much less their younger selves that we're dealing with right now. It kind of feels like a diversion full of random people that I've hardly heard of, one that's been going on for quite a few chapters. Maybe it'd be better if I'd been reading it all at once rather than following it weekly.

I've now read up to chapter 53. Do we have a trope for characters who control shadows?

New chapter out. Is Number 5 Junas?

Considering #5 looks exactly like Junas, has a similar personality, (from what we've seen) is probably quite powerful and has a established connection to Miroku, I'd say he is.

Thread Necromancy time! Miroku has been recruiting lots of new members. And with the shortcut to beating him thwarted, things are getting tough for our heroes.

What do you mean? Abyss was introduced around the time they returned to the present, if I remember correctly.

So... Miroku now has three underlings who haven't appeared in the future, including another Grigori. We know there were a total of 9 Grigori, and now we've met 5 of them.

That fire psychic girl looks a lot like that Nemesis Q chick. Only Six Faces in action?

Yeah, Psyren is pretty bad at making characters look distinctive.

new chapter out, reunions and romance, no plot advancement as such

Okay, wow. Yoshina and Amamiya's relationship is rather awkward now. But that's better than things never developing, and it seems like it could lead somewhere. Also, Ian and Van are bonding.

And Matsuru plans to bring Kagetora into the know. I wonder how the heck she plans to do that without dying.

New Chappie out, Nemesis-Q sends out the call; I wonder what's that silhouette behind Ageha?

New Chapter out. The reunion is fun, but WISE has gone nuts.

Did anybody think that Amamiya reading romance book/manga(I forgot which)was cute?

One Manga has a new chapter up. Seven WISE members versus nine good guys with powers, but one of the WISE members is the ridiculously powerful Junas. Should be an interesting fight.

New Chapter out, Root gets exposed to the WISE, and Shao is Bad Ass.
