I have that song on loop now.
You guys suck.
I finally finished Naoto's Dungeon in Persona 4. I died quite a bit going through the floors and the boss was a little tough but I was able to finish it this evening. I feel quite proud of myself.

So I don't know if this is true or not, but apparently if you deal enough damage to Shadow Teddie's Nihil Hand he'll get knocked down like Erebus in Persona 3 ? I read it on the wiki but can't find a clip of that anywhere. Has anyone ever tried to do that on New Game+ ?
I dunno.
Another oddity I've seen is people claiming it can one-shot anyone who's dazed when he uses it, but the charge up time is takes too long: there will never be a dazed person when he uses it.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Could anyone recommend a Let's Play of Persona 5, 4, or 3?
I'll never sit myself down to actually play these titles, but the characters, lore, and setting have always been rather interesting to me.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!You want the player talking or no?

Screenshot LP, but it's really good

Song of the SirensSo, due to Persona 5 being 50% off previously, I've finally managed to get my hands on a copy.
For Christmas, though, it'll be a gift that's not to be open until then. But hey, I'm finally getting to play it soon, after somehow remaining spoiler free this entire time.

The Persona 4 Endurance Run is a classic.

I'm good with either. I'll check those out.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I'm way behind but Johneawesome and Echo Six both have fairly good ones for 5. Johneawesome's episodes are shorter but he goes for a 100% completion playthrough. Echo Six's episodes are longer at 1.5 hours or so per episode and I think the let's play as a whole is shorter in terms of episodes as a result.
Nico B's Lps for 4 and 5 are great, too.
Watch SymphogearI can vouch for that.
He not only provides funny commentary, but he always goes into every game he does blind and is smart enough to figure a lot about the game on his own (sometimes to a scarily accurate degree regarding plot points). Not to mention he's very connected to his fanbase and always tried to listen to them regarding advice and stuff if he runs into trouble.
So yeah, definitely watch those.
I picked Nico B's actually.
It's been half an hour and I still haven't gotten past the first 5 minutes because I keep replaying the intro... is this normal?
Persona has some darn good music.
Who am I? I'm a - love you need - maybe I'm not here - hello...

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I view P 4 G's soundtrack to be better but that's just personal taste. SMT games always have a great soundtrack though. SMT, Final Fantasy and Kiseki Series are the top 3 greats in gaming soundtracks.
Snowflakes alone makes P 4 G the best. Well, I think P3 has the best selection of battle themes but P4 beats it in every other kind of music.
Also as good as SMT and FF are, they got numbers. Never forget he smaller series like Xenosaga or Chrono. They have some of the best music ever in a video game.
I watched Superjeenius' L Ps for Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 Golden. He goes for max links runs, and his only failure in Golden was accidentally missing the Twins questline.
He didn't go for The Answer, though.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I tried playing The Answer but after seeing that it was all dungeon crawling on hard, I just watched the cutscenes on You Tube.
I found The Answer's dungeon crawling oddly compelling, strangely enough. I think it was because it was just dungeon crawling, so it didn't feel like an interruption from the other aspects of the game.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.I too don't have an issue with the Answer being all dungeon crawling.
It turned me off at first but I grew to enjoy it.
I only mind the lack of compendium.
So, after having my copy of Persona 5 (among other things) stolen some months ago, I've finally gotten a new copy thanks to the best friend ever.
Wish I could have retained my old save data, but alas. I'm gonna try a second playthrough again. It's been a while, so, anyone got any tips or advice for jumping back in with a fresh start?
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either. There's more ways to improve social stats than ever before in Persona 5. Use them all, then see which ones you like best and stick with them.
Whenever you can, take the time to craft spare lockpicks for opening any chests you find in palaces and mementos.
If you find a treasure demon, fuse it into something new immediately. They all comes with a good variety of skills for the point of the game they're unlocked, and can also be used to get new persona from the same arcana as the other persona you fuse a treasure demon with.
If you're short on money, unlock the Sun confidant to give yourself perks to earn more of it. To access it, you need to work part-time at the ramen shop.
I'd say Kanji, Rise, and Chie are my favorites so far. The other characters aren't bad either.
