-A vision fades into view of Joel and Alyx sitting in the ruins of an old and abandoned marble building. They look battered and bruised from a recent fight, and Joel has a wound in his side.-
Past!Alyx: We did it...we managed to escape.
Joel: But the others...where did they go?
Past!Alyx: We'll catch up with them later, once we find out where we are. Once we've stopped your bleeding, we're searching for them.
Joel: Yeah...but damn, they really gave us a beating, didn't they? Ambushed us, disabled our Morphers, sent us to that weird place...and then they beat us all up and sent us away!
Past!Alyx: That power that they use...it's not normal.
Joel: And they're freakishly huge.

Tommy: But why didn't we skip straight to the earliest part?
Rei: I apologize, but there is some strong magical residue in the arrow that is making it hard for me to jump all the way back. We are going to have to do these kinds of "jumps" a couple of times until we reach the memory we're looking for.
Kelsey: Well, let's get going, then! *doesn't look very comfortable about seeing a vision of two persons who she knows will die a short time after the events of the vision*
Rei: Straight away.
-The vision changes...to the middle of a big fight! All six of the Lightspeed Rangers are fighting against a large group of the Black Soldiers, but none of the Rangers are transformed...-
-They are fighting in a mysterious location; large pillars and standing stones inscribed with runes and magical sigils are everywhere, and an unnatural fog covers the unseen floor. The sky above is pitch darkness, making it all seem like a nightmarish place.-
-At the moment they skip to, Past!Chad is just punched by one of the Soldiers and sent flying.-

-Past!Alyx is back to back with Chad, dodging the attacks of the Soldier with the bow and another one wielding some kind of spiked flail.-
Past!Alyx: Gotcha! Come on, Joel!
Past!Joel: Right behind you!
-The Red and Green Ranger split up, dashing between the pillars to avoid the attacks of their pursuers as they try to make their way back to the others. Meanwhile, Ryan helps Chad back on his feet and they start running away.-
Past!Kelsey: Dana, look out!
-Meanwhile, Dana is under attack by a cloaked Soldier using some kind of chain as a weapon. Kelsey interrupts it, kicking it in the side before running away together with Dana.-
Tommy: How...why aren't they transforming?
Kelsey: Gah...I remember this now...our Morphers were disabled by...something. It happened just before this...

Catherine: Well, shit, if we figure out how the morphers are disabled, perhaps we can try to...(her voice falters)

Catherine: ...I was going to say "we could try to repair it, as we have the technology", but...Alyx doesn't even have that morpher.
A!Joel: Man! How would he defend himself?
Catherine: He still has us, if needed. And my family. However, we should try to figure out how they're disabled, anyway...so that way, we wouldn't fall in the same trap.
