That is interesting, but it doesn't take into account migration, immigration, or overpopulation (overpopulation makes it so that everyone needs more land, so somebody's going to have to lose their ancestral land).
Heck, the Nomadic Lifestyle pretty much throws a giant monkey wrench into that whole thing.

What he meant is that we must not give any of our land to a foreign country for any reason (as in, giving up provinces in exchange for peace, yadda yadda).
And it is likely that even if I say his name you wouldn't know. Our history before the 20th century is obscure after all.

I'm writing a scene in my story where a character climbs onto the guardrail of a bridge over a river and has to be talked down.
I didn't know whether the guardrails on bridges like that were wide enough to climb onto, so I decided to try it myself, here.
