I'm of the experience that most attempts at a male OC in Touhou ends up being entirely for self-shipping purposes with the day's waifu....

...But I cannot in good conscience exclude female OCs from that generalization either.

I can't recall any female OCs period, except maybe something about a mushroom girl and Reimu's predecessor, the Catachan-looking one.

I don't see much shipping potential in these two anyway. One's genderless and the other is pretty much garuanteed to have a bad relationship with the Watatsuki's. That goes for the first one too actually.

The shoes they exist to fill are Eirin's political opponents after all.

Two weeks ago I asked the teacher about the internship I'm interested in that he's responsible for, he tells me he'll do it in two weeks. The deadline for papers getting signed is this Friday, the forms can only be accessed from the campus library, and the teacher has no clue what the more important boxes like "name of person responsible during internship" should contain, this in spite of the main teacher telling us to consult with them.

But hey, it could be worse, earlier in the year the server the forms were kept on wasn't even working.

Someone shared a very good Touhou-quiz in a Touhou fangroup on Facebook. Test your knowledge, gentlemen!

I got 6/10, which I'm actually satisfied with (I was so close with a couple).

In my defense, several were from the PC 98 ones, and one was... how the hell do you distinguish Tall and Fairly Tall?

8/10.

Yeah, the height one annoyed me too. I just guessed and got it right.

Marisa and Cirno were no-brainers, thankfully, so the odds were 50-50.

Yeah, I got the negative outcome of that 50/50 chance.

I got that one all wrong, thinking fairly short was less than short, so I gave that one to Cirno.

In fact, the others I got right through dumb luck (Reigetsusai), some guessing (less than one square millimeter of off-white on the blue oni's forehead means Yuugi, apparently, even if you can't see the shape) and prior knowledge (Remilia's rocket).

I got a paltry 1 out of 10...

Though in my defence, some of that stuff seemed really obscure.

Yeah, parts of it is old PC-98, quite a few questions are from the extra materials and one of them is from an e-mail from ZUN.
