There's some gold in the comments section below.
Christopher Baldwin: [T]o be precise, they need to agree a crime or wrongdoing has been committed. :)
Chaosfarseer: By whose crime standards? :P “Oh ew, gum on the sidewalk.” “I agree.” BLAST.
Christopher Baldwin: yes, exactly. That’s the problem, here and with vigilante justice in general. :-/
Update. I'm liking Joyce.
Time to find out how good Hwan actually is.
I didn't write any of that.I'm starting to think that Joyce is what happens when an Emily-type has to deal with corporate wolves rather than coyotes. Sure, way more thinky, but personality-wise, probably exactly what one needs to counteract the presence of Nogg.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Australian wildlife, man.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Anesu continues being the best. Oh, and Baldwin set up this punchline back in "Joyce Negotiates". Reread the first four panels, and note Anesu's reaction in the background.
I didn't write any of that. There's a reason that businesspeople are sometimes called "corporate pirates."
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I wonder if Baldwin is setting Anesu up to be the new Dmitri.
I didn't write any of that.I think she needs about five minutes with Krep and the promise to cover his bar tab to get all of that.
Also, is it me, or has Nogg gotten way more jerky? I mean, he's never been the most moral sapient to begin with, but it seemed like he was just being petty until Joyce pressed his buttons.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I think Nogg was trying to re-assert his authority, since Joyce's handling of the pirates undermined him so badly. And he screwed that up, as usual, since he picked entirely the wrong hill to fight on.
Don't know if that's being more a jerk than he was in the first series, or not.

I didn't write any of that.Hmm... good point. This might fall under "need more information at this time." And it'd be a plausible development either way - maybe Nogg's repeated failures are starting to really weigh on him.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Wow. I could go into my thoughts, but I feel like I'd be doing the emotional version of explaining the joke. That's just really well-written.
Also, heh, dog pants.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. You'd really thing Nogg would be used to this at this point. Of course, you'd also think that Nogg would learn at some point, too.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Mauricio's got some big shoes to fill, and he may or may not be already filling them.
I didn't write any of that.To go back on my previous comment, when people repeatedly put Nogg in these positions because they like watching what happens, you really think he'd learn at this point.
In a way, Nogg is pretty amazing how he stays static. I almost think he's trying to be a ambulatory piscine doofus.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I like how Dmitri seems surprised that a bad idea wasn't Nogg's idea, for once.

Update. Seems like Mauricio is fitting in well. Also, he really is Martina's brother.
