That's a load of semantics that doesn't undermine my point at all.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I should point out that the Phantom Troupe are not a Class A threat. They are a Class A bounty.
The reason Chimera Ants were untimely ranked B threat wise is because while dangerous they were not a true threat as they could just be Bombed away.
Presumably it means "threat to civilization", ie: how likely they are to cause the extinction of humanity. Something that can be stopped with a single nuke isn't very threatening, on a global scale. A Class A threat would probably be something like an incurable disease that can't be quarantined.
Yeah, the Class A threats aren't powerful; rather, they're hard to prepare countermeasures for. Which falls in line with how "power levels" aren't the end all be all.
If something is "only" a Class B threat just because they can ultimately use the Rose on it than it's hard to image how anything else is supposed to be Class A.
Seriously, the argument "we can nuke/poison it so it doesn't deserve an A rank" is a bit ridiculous.
I think the logic here isn't that "we can nuke it" but rather "it's hard to kill, but it can still be killed". The Class A threats are a tad more difficult to counter.
That said, were Chimera ants a B-class threat before or after the Nen treatment?
Yeah all the A class threats listed from the Dark Continent so far are things that can't be killed or fought.
I forgot, did they ever says why they didn't carpet bomb the entire area in Roses? There was a blurb about it being so cheap North Koreanesque dictatorship utilizes them often before they're banned, I think.
"The literal meaning of life is whatever you're doing that prevents you from killing yourself." Albert CamusValuable things there.
Though given that there are other islands in that huge lake, maybe going for those first would be wiser.
Secret Signaturex_x Why?
Mileena MadnessHisoka being a creepy pedophile might have something to do with it. Speaking of which, jesus fucking christ @ Keith Silverstein's moans in the latest dub episode.
I didn't know about the "pedophile" part, but the "creepy" part is spot on. He's like Gin Ichimaru in a clown costume.
Flora is the most beautiful member of the Winx Club. :)I think it's less he's a pedophile and more like he has no problem infusing sexual undertones into his relationship with anyone he wants to fight. Still super creepy when some of those people happen to be twelve year old boys, though.
He also got a boner when he was naked in Greed Island.
Covered by speech bubbles in the manga/Gon and Killua's eyes follow it as it gets hard in the anime.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Hisoka is murdersexual.
I liked those two Breather Episodes where Gon's aunt read the letters she got from him. :)
Flora is the most beautiful member of the Winx Club. :)I like Hisoka because he's so awesome that I keep forgetting how horrible he is. I've caught myself shipping him with each of Machi and Biscuit, then I remember what he's all about and think differently.
I love paring him with Machi. She is so cold to him that it is adorable.
Mileena MadnessAnd he didn't even kill her after deciding to kill all the Spiders! (Because he wanted her to deliver a message.)
Hisoka is cool in the fact that the way you're supposed to be creeped out by him is this interesting mix of subtle yet right in your face.
He'd be better if people didn't hype him up to insane levels though. I'm very interested in learning about his past. I actually thought the last few chapters were going to be about that and him finally dying before I read them.

The Tokyo Ghoul mangaka released a one-shot a while back showing a little bit of it. It's basically professional fanfiction but it was relatively well-written and felt like it could have happened in the series.
I believe Togashi's stance on it was Sure, Why Not?, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't get overridden by any future revelations. Not that I expect Togashi to ever go into Hisoka's past anyway.
I think wanting to learn about Hisoka's past is only begging for a bunch of Joker references.
Hiatus x Hiatus returns to serialization at the end of June.

I think we're supposed to take him being the strongest ant ever as fact. That was explicitly what his mother was going for, and it would be really weird if he wasn't, and yet nothing like this happened before.
