“Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind.” TPGreat! Now scooch it over here to America.
I don't see why it wouldn't, but I still doubt it.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."So mean...
...male Vocaloids singing the Sailor Moon theme song.
I really like how Meito sounds.
Alsoso, there aren't many producers who can make a good English song. But Circus-P is pretty talented.
There's something rather bitter in most of his songs...sadness, anger...but I guess that makes for good art.
That's good some early 00's pop right there.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I expect my first exposure was Ryo's Miku, aka probably the most common exposure ever, at least in the Vocaloid 2 days.
Zunko has a trial out by the way, if anyone was interested in trying her out. :D
“Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind.” TPUber late coming back to the thread, but WHAT. THIS IS UNFAIR. I didn't know there was a Western release of Project Diva F2! I have f2 for the vita instead. >_>

Tales of Berseria - BurnWell, it's coming. Pretty sure it isn't out yet, as it's going to be at E3.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. How many of these bloody games are there?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."If I remember correctly, I think it started over for the PSP which is simply called Project Diva, and that there are two for the Vita, which is Project Diva F and F2.
There's also a game for the PS3 where you could port the PSP game called...something with a ridiculously cheesy sounding name out for PSN Japan.
...In other words, not as much as I'd like. :p

Tales of Berseria - BurnA sweet song that's good for my mood.
If you look really hard, you can always find gems from the underused Vocaloids...
Let's see... First, there was the original Project Diva on PSP. The sequel, Project Diva 2nd, was pretty buggy, so a rerelease was made, Project Diva 2nd#. A third game, Project Diva extend compiled certain songs from the first two games and added 9 more. All of these games also had Dreamy Theater versions that required the PSP game, but essentially ported the PSP game they were based on to the PS 3. Finally, there are the Project Diva F games, which you mentioned.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Been watching Miku in the Artrave concert, and liking her better now...
It's not her fault she's so popular. She doesn't have control over anything people do to her. What she sings, what she wears...
I do wonder how long her popularity will last though. She'll keep singing as long as people keep typing lyrics...and buying her. They keep making more Vocaloids, though none of them have surpassed her in popularity yet.
It's some combination of how well they can keep improving voice emulation, how long people are willing to spend money to have someone else sing for them... and how much they're willing to spend.
Her English version still goes for $250, but Utaus are free. ..the program's hard to work in English, but if someone else figures out how to do it, making programs sing may be just a fad.
But maybe not. Everything these days IS "make the machines do it".
Today starts the The World Cup, I'm sharing a Vocaloid tribute made for the 2010 edition. I do hope they do something for this edition.
Divine Diva sing Jumping at Shadows.
I find it interesting how Luka seems to be the lead over Miku.
And of course I find it sad how they don't use Meiko, but I guess if you're going for lighter more "refined" voices...
...I just encountered him, so...there.

Tales of Berseria - BurnAnother Vocaloid chorus song:
Look at that. IA has just become so main.
I especially like Miku's lines "Will we surely slip into obscurity some day?" and "I'll be your voice". It's so self-aware...

Key! Thank you. Listening to that cheered me up considerably!
...My take on it was that they know they're simply a program that's designed to sing, but at the same time they're also glad that they have the ability for others(the composers) to bring out the best of their abilities by just doing what they can.
It's very heartwarming and sweet, that even when the only thing they could do is sing, it doesn't diminish their worth but brings it up more. Since hey, they could DO something, and that's what counts.

Tales of Berseria - BurnMy parakeets singing to this! I'm not sure if this counts in the thread and a plane just passed through...but it's cute so!
Tales of Berseria - BurnAh, I have cheered someone up—my post was a success.
And your parakeets sound cute. Tone-deaf, but at least they got the music in them.
And Vocaloids can do more than just sing! They can dance too...when someone programs model of them to. And they can motivate other people to sing, dance, draw, cosplay, or buy a Vocaloid themselves to make a song.
^_^
They sure are! They're going to be better with more practice.
In other words, Vocaloids could wrap people under their finger by appealing to the fanbase's whims and make cults clones supporters walking advertisements with their singing?
...I'm looking for a song to accompany this, but there's too many to choose from.
Tales of Berseria - BurnNaturally.
Well they're still pretty niche, especially in the West. It's hard to make synthetic voices sound normal, and definitely in English. That's very reliant on accents and timing.
I wonder if they'll put IA in English...
And I wonder if they'll ever get any Vocaloid songs on western radio. Would that be legal?
