All I've got so far is the Frontier Justice, but I'm pleased with it. I particularly like that the achievement that unlocked it was the one for wrenching a disguised Spy.
月を見るたび思い出せWhoah, How'd you get it so fast?
I dunno, it took me about an hour. Only 5 achievements.
I'm more impressed by the folks who already have all three of the weapons. o_O
月を見るたび思い出せI just played, and there are waaaaaaaaaay too many engineers. Like, 9 on each team, no medics, 5 spies, and one heavy
Welcome to every single class update ever. XD
月を見るたび思い出せBut no medics? WHAT THE FUCK!
Only time an update got Medic-spam was during the Medic update.
Well, and the Heavy update.
月を見るたび思い出せBut come on, we need at least one medic. HOW CAN I BE AN EFFICIENT HEAVY WITHOUT A MEDIC!?
By going Engie. :D
Engie is now a bona fide Mad Scientist.
Hell yes.
Dedicated to grasping hold of threads and driving them off cliffs.Oh, Gods have mercy. I went to bed just before the update hit home, I'm guessing, sounds like a hellish sentry nightmare world. My poor, poor scout. :(
Doesn't at least one of the Engineer achievements require a Medic?
Yeah. Doc, Stock, and Barrel.
Repair you sentry while under fire and being healed by a Medic.
Interestingly, a Medic who aids you for that achievement would also get an achievement himself: Midwife Crisis.
I have a message from another time...Servers right now look like the turret stages of Portal.
Last team I was in was 8 engies, 2 demomen, 2 spies and me (the medic).
Tip: Play medic. Find a competent demoman. Pair with him. Hilarity ensues.

Did I scrap the Direct Hit? I hope I didn't...
EDIT: I did :(
Also, I finally got a third item to craft for an Eyelander to replace my Scotsman's Skullcrusher. What'd I get? A SCOTSMAN'S SKULLCRUSHER ARGHAGHRGAHRGHAGRHAGRH.

Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about. What are the actual odds for item drops and so forth, does anyone know? I'm sure I heard that hats are entirely random, but I have no idea about weapons/other random crap. I've got about five Nataschas, and a fair few other random bits. Some variety would be nice and spicey.
Argh I can't seem to get the game to work on my macbook, even with Steam For Mac. I don't see how not having the proper video card would cause me to not be connected to steam (even though I can see my achievements on the actual steam client), or why my FPS is so los.
I mean, I had the game working nearly perfectly when I was emulating Steam via Crossover. I only got Steam For Mac because the updated version of Steam doesn't work with my Crossover anymore; I don't understand why the game worked perfectly then but not now that I have something apparently specifically geared for Macs.

I have a message from another time...^That's interesting. Mine worked just fine at the launch update.
"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "Hmmm...
I'm-a redownload the PC version of Steam and try it with Crossover, see if it works. (It may be that I don't have the right updates because I only have this one version of Crossover that was offered for free this one time) Because I've got to see if I can get that working version of the game again.
edit: argh it won't launch. It looks like I'll have to deal with the Steam For Mac, or using Steam on my much slower, but has-the-graphics-card, PC.

I have a message from another time...My thoughts on the update. Not ethat I have never actually used any of these things, only seen them in action.
- Frontier Justice, well, I haven't seen it in action enough to say anything about it.
- The Wrangler. Ayup. I like the "point-and-aim" system, because it keeps the Engy from hiding and it lets you see where it points. It's not too broken, actually.
- The Gunslinger is interesting. The mini-sentries are quite nice, although they're annoying as hell. Also, the Gunslinger taunt should be "I AM A MAN!", followed by a lethal punch.
- The new maps are cool. Hightower is okay, but I haven't played on it much. Thunder Mountian is pretty similar to Goldrush, but it's still cool. Upward is totally awesome, in both appearance and playing on it.
Looking at the new Engineer achievements, I think his taunt kill has something to do with his guitar...
He has two taunt kills: one for the Frontier Justice (he pulls out a guitar, plays it for a bit, and smashes is El Kabong-style) and the other for the Gunslinger (the mechanical hand starts whirring around and he stabs it forward).
New domination lines.
New VA, it seems.
I have a message from another time...That's what it sounds like.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.
Actually, if you notice, when you have the wrench equipped, he's always wearing a glove on that hand... when you equip the gunslinger, he takes the glove off. Which means he's secretly had a robotic hand since 2007 without anybody figuring it out.
The new update is easily the best one so far, the new mini-sentry is cute as hell and the wrangler is a lot of fun. I was hoping they'd release the polycount contest results, but that can wait I guess. I really hope this isn't the end... the medic's about due for another update one of these days.
