I find it interesting that this is also the very first election where businesses were allowed to directly financially support candidates. Makes me wonder if any of these new folks are going to be riding the business pocket book from here on out.
Who watches the watchmen?You'd think Genachowski would listen to Henry Waxman for once. He's been going on about how the FCC has the power and opportunity to step up, but Genachowski's done nothing.
Well, SCOTUS might help.
Fight smart, not fair.Remember that the FCC's efforts are mostly stalled in judicial battles with the corporations, who are pushing for backroom deals in their favor, so the FCC's only real hope is to get some backup from new legislation. Sadly, I think net neutrality is hosed for the time being.
Which sucks, but unfortunately was inevitable. Ladies and gentlemen, guns are on their way to paradise!
