Why not just keep Art Major X for all of them? That seems neutral enough, if not entirely intuitive.

Art Major X or X Dose Not Work That Way are probably the best.

I'm ok with Art Major X. (Even if as an art major I like to think I'm not as silly as some of these examples.)

So what do we do now? Do we make a huge crowner?

Basically the only issue brought up in this thread that isn't a suggested title or pros/cons for one is the "proto tropes" thing. Seeing as whatever solution we come up with is going to be compatible with whatever title, we might as well get ready to pick.

This just occurred to me, but Art Major Sex Ed sounds... wrong somehow. We need something else for that one.

Maybe a stupid idea though.

Strictly speaking science isn't a part of reality as much as it is an attempt to describe it. Things like imaginary math or quantum physics are in a sense as much removed from reality as most fictional examples.

But one can still get the details wrong. Math is abstract too, but if your show goes around unironically claiming that 2+2 = 22, you're going to have some people mad at you.

^ That. It's kind of important to figure out what the crowner is asking first.

I'd be OK with "Art major X". It certainly sounds better than "Goof". But bear in mind that we ''don't'' all live in America, so I'd prefer that it were something more universal.

[up] The US and Australia are the only countries with majors. The British system is similar, but they tend to refer to it as a Concentration and it's a bit more focused.

Artistic License X, maybe? that makes it a bit clearer that it's not accurate. Artistic X could be taken to be simply "done artistically"
