Plutia in Re:Birth one is, basically, 'Compa but Better'

She'll definitely be replacing your cleric Until the endgame, where you just spam super moves until the boss runs out of life

Compa is the weakest most specialized character in Neptunia sadly, she is pretty much only good for her triangle attacks to gain EXE gauge, she has the highest hit counts out of everyone IIRC although it doesn't balance out her weak defense and HP.

Replacing her was a wise idea Plutia is basically Compa with CPU powers and good debuffs.

Also CP Us > Makers in every single case, CP Us are just plain light years better till the third game. Noire, Neptune, and Rom or Plutia will nuke the game with their EX Es, in the late game and you have the DLC replace Plutia or Rom with Histoire for a bigger game breaker.

All right, got the normal AND the true end in Supernep vs Sega! Turns out stacking 3x damage with 2 Dreamcast is nuts...

And I guess I overlevel a bit...Iris Heart didn't hurt me that much all things considered.

Well, time to play Valkyrie Drive!

Get the bad ending! Beat the Time Eater the first time you fight him in NG+, its funny.

I think Blanc has her beat, with like 8-hit single attacks.

Aww, I feel bad for leaving out Compa, she tries so hard.

Eventually she will get some decent support moves to cleanse status effects, but those won't come for a while, and until they do there's NO reason not to use Plutia instead.

Ahh yeah your right, Compa tops out at 6 hits while Blanc, Vert, Nepgear, Plutia and Uni top out at 8 hit combos.

Maybe it was 2 that she was good with 8 hits, I forget.

One of the few things I miss about the original Neptunia was that you only have that trio to work with, the 4 DLC characters unavailable until halfway, and the other goddesses aren't until just before the final boss.

You couldn't just break the game in two by using Peashy and Plutia who aren't even supposed to be there like you can in the remake.

For the record, darkabomination, if you used Peashy at all, Late-Arrival Spoiler for the third game. My apologies.

I mean, Peashy in general isn't THAT good. Too much Glass, not enough Cannon.

The DLC characters I agree with at least with Plu and Pii, you don't unlock the Histy DLC till late in the game even though she is the biggest gamebreaker of them all.

However IF and Compa are so criminally underpowered it is really stupid to use them, even the other makers are better than them. Even not using DLC you should replace Compa when you get MAGES, hell even Marvy is better than Compa.

Still found her good enough to swap out IF in the early game. As soon as I had more characters she was gone, but the glasslike defense has never been a big drawback on anyone until VII.

You gotta have the right support to make Peashy good, and Histy is still better, but yeah she is better than Iffy right out of the gate. Debuff that VIT and power up Pii and then EXE.... POW.

My gaming interests lying where they are, how's Falcom? If IF isn't the greatest physical fighter, I've got the rest of the DLC, thankfully it's really cheap.

Falcom is pretty good, she decent buffs with a str/agi and a int/men one and her stats are decent. She has a palette swap outfit colored after Joshua and a Tio outfit from Trails Of Azure. She is outclassed by the CP Us but so is everyone but MAGES.

The young Falcom in Rebirth 3 though is the one you want she has a palette swap of her base outfit with the Jenis Uniform colors and outright has Estelle's FC outfit as a costume, expensive though.

Holy Strega that's awesome. If only they kept Stephanie Sheh to complete the voice actor joke like in Japanese, but that's great. Plus her default is very blatantly a gender-swapped Adol. And she's got weapons from Dragon Slayer.

here are some pics of the costumes I don't have the Bracer's outfit though I didnt have enough money in my Rebirth 3 save to buy it.

I think Noire's game has the best characters based off franchises though, Metal Gear Solid, Record Of Agarest War, Final Fantasy (who is Chuuni), Dragon Quest, Vocaloid, Resident Evil, Pac Man

Oh btw all the Neptunia games are 80% off on steam right now. Noire for example is $2.99... GET IT.

Seeing how this is basically the Compile Heart thread, Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force worth it if I have Fairy Fencer F but in my backlog?

Advent Dark Force basically replaces the normal game. If you haven't played the original, play ADF instead. It has all the content plus additional story route options.

Since we're talking character usefulness, can someone explain the difference between Rom and Ram? I've never cared enough to figure it out, past that their movesets are near-identical. I usually just set them both as backrow and leave it at that.

I think they have different elemental specialties. I might be wrong though.

In VII, at least, Rom is more of a healer/support character while Ram is geared more towards offense. They're both the hardest hitting characters in the game, too.

Rom has been more Ao E and multihit, Ram is single target and big hits.

Rom > Ram in almost every game they have been in.

4 Goddesses Online looks like it at least diverges from that noticeably though, with Rom being a Samurai and Ram being a Ninja.
