Personally, I don't have trouble with simple image link ads, but I object to flash ads, so I just use flash block, and click on any flash things I want to use.
It is unreasonable to expect everyone to use flash, so I don't think I can be expected to let flash player run their ads.
That is, if their flash ads don't run, that is their own fault. (For using flash)
I am not totally sure that this is valid reasoning, but it seems fine for now.

I hate it when one of the video ads are open and rambling on about something stupid (and making whatever video I'm watching hard to hear), and I'm searching through all my tabs trying to find it.
