With the extra heart counter, it seems that the 5 hearts you regenerate over time are now separate from the hearts you buy with Jewels. So now you still regenerate free hearts even if you have 5+ stored up from buying them.
As for the candy counter, no one knows. Probably something they'll expand upon and announce soon.

Last page? Paralyzed Shedninja with Soak was impossible for me to take down. It's only weaknesses are grass and electric and only my Conkledurr knew a move of either type (I swapped Energy Ball for TR on Chandrlure).
They would just leave Toxic from Umbreon to stop it which was thrown out the window when Mew Paralyzed it.

The fan region I'm working on (with more than 10 others) actually has that. Though, the first one is Ghost-type, and evolves into a Ghost/Steel-type, and both have an ability that (so far I know) removes its Ghost-type immunities. (Probably due to Final Fantasy VI.) The creator of that fan Pokémon decided that the third Pokémon in that line would have a different ability, so far I know.

Maybe it's evolution line could evoke the image of a Combining Mecha.

i'll be honest, when i hear of a steel/ghost type i think of something amazing like a possessed suit of knightly armor or something. a robot would also be awesome.
the fact that we got aegislash instead left me pretty damn underwhelmed even if the thing got banned to ubers.

I wonder if will ever see a Starter with the Ghost Type? They tend to be animals so anyone know any good mythical or cryptid animals that could be tied with Ghost? I can think of a few for Fire and Water, but not Grass.
Truth be told I am kind of disappointed in the Honedge line, it was my strongest Pokemon (lv69), but it was the only one to faint on me when I battled Diantha. The hype it tends to get only sours my attitude towards it. Those who hype it tend to forget it suffers very strongly from Kryptonite Is Everywhere.

So far, starters have had for secondaries Flying, Poison, Fighting, Ground, Psychic, Steel and Dark. I'd say Ghost isn't out of the question.

Now I'm fighting Kai's Dad for a Master Ball, again, because I already beat him before I decided Dark Rising was done being glitchy and went upstairs for a TM before retriggering the event.

x3 Less than 10% of all Pokemon are banned. Or some small number like that. The percentage is probably bigger if you only include fully-evolveds (totally a word, btw), but I'm too lazy to math. And this is including stuff GF made powerful on purpose; if you take out all of the Title Legendaries, the list is pretty small (8 Pokemon in Gen VI if Mega Stones are treated as Mons).
x2 Not enough BL mons to justify it, plus several are decent-to-good in OU already.

I really want to talk something else other than competitive talk. Granted, I love competitive battling (ironic since nowadays I can't play online due to having a Technicolour broadband internet thingy THAT WON'T LET ME PLAY ONLINE ARRRRGGH), but there's far more important stuff to talk about. Like:
- The possibility of having an announcement for Pokemon Z in E3 this year
- Opinions of having crushes on human Pokemon characters (which was kinda ignored the last time I brought it up)
- Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon Something better than that.

Never played any of the Mystery Dungeon games outside of the very first ones and even then I never beat them. I'm hoping that Super Mystery Dungeon is better than the last game from what I hear. Also that Super Myster Dungeon turns out to be a placeholder name.

i played mystery dungeon but the gameplay was always too weak for me to get into it.

Super Mystery Dungeon is more than likely what we're getting at E3, but I'm holding out for a main series game announcement since next year is the 20th Anniversary of the franchise. Announcing it at E3 just makes sense to me.
