I'm fine with that because it would be too easy if you just had to put them to sleep and could instantly catch them. Roamers shouldn't be able to run away though. That's just bullshit.

If the person did everything right... you can't.
Heck, even if they didn't, so long as blatantly obvious things like impossible EV spreads or illegal movesets aren't on the Pokemon, you can't, period.
The pentagon tells nothing but that it originated in Kalos. And even that can be hacked(though it is easily noticed if you take it to the memory girl).
