Odd confessions.

I feel like my brain has been too messed up by dumb horror content, because sometimes reading the YKTS queries, I mentally fill in the gaps as if the works are some weird "lost episode" creepypasta. The description could be something like "it was an animated film about two girls playing with a horse" and I'd somehow envision it as a horror. Maybe it has something to do with how vague a lot of them are, might remind me of Candle Cove to a degree where it starts out innocent and simple.

When we were younger, my siblings and I preferred Disney XD over Disney Channel, since XD is where most of the animated stuff was.

Whenever I do something that I think others would consider embarrassing^note Which is a lot more stuff than you'd probably expect, I get this weird feeling that I'm being watched, even if I'm the only sentient being in the entire building. Is that a problem?

Ditto. But Disney Channel eventually became Disney but better. Still Disney XD was awesome

I can't notice the difference between 1080p and 4k. It could be what I use to watch media and what I have exposed myself to.

Ever since Hiromi Hayakawa died with her baby, I am terrified whenever a mexican dub actress gets pregnant. Even Gina Sanchez (Kikyo in Inuyasha and Nami in One Piece) had a very difficult pregnancy and yet another almost didnt make it. I know this is oddly specific but I always get sad when I remember Hiromi.

Lately I've been looping "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" by Eurythmics to get myself through some rough times. I picture the Quicksilver Bullet Time scene from X-Men: Apocalypse in my head and jog. It's not that I imagine myself running as fast as him, but it at least makes me move a bit faster. Even if I can never make Time Stand Still, I can push myself along more against the inevitable passage of time.

I think that Sword and Shield is the best Pokemon game because it’s the only game I’ve played and I will die on this hill if I’m the only one on it.

That doesn't apply to me either, I've always been more into drawing cartoony humans.

When I was little, I wanted to be a voice actor and or dub actor. But since I was too little to know the term dubbing and voice acting I told my mom I wanted to do voices and she got scared and told my psychologist LOL.

(x5) The mentality I had as a child that got me into the habit of eating vegetables was that, with the logic that I don't like vegetables, I want them off my plate/dealt with first.

You know how socks are always supposed to disappear in the laundry? I have the opposite problem. I frequently come back from my apartment building's laundry room with more socks than I started with. So, if you ever wondered where lost socks go, you now know that they go to me.

Despite being a huge music fan, I'm not the best at identifying songs/artists by their genre a fair amount of the time. Might have something to do with how many Genre-Busting musicians I like (and the fact that I've got a pretty wide variety of music I like in general as well).

I have this We Want Our Jerk Back! attitude towards certain men who find me attractive. It's usually the "bad boys" and the "hood boys" type of men. They used to be jerks towards me when I was a teenager and they found me unattractive. Now I am an adult, all they do is obnoxiously lust after me and sexually harass me (and badger me via social media even after I show them I don't like them). I long for the days when these types of men though I was ugly.

The only reason I know Céline Dion songs is because (one of) my parent(s) had this 2007 DVD of her "Live in Las Vegas" concert.

I don't recall how many times I watched it but I only really remember the beginning and the end songs 😅 ("A New Day Has Come" and "My Heart Will Go On").

For some reason, I thought there were more artists in that concert, but I could be confusing that with another DVD I saw. I vaguely recall watching "I Believe I Can Fly" from some concert DVD.

I'm not too fond of Awkward Zombie and VG Cats.

I much prefer to listen to songs I know in different languages so I don't get distracted by the lyrics, so my main playlist currently contains multiple songs from the Yiddish Fiddler on the Roof, the Spanish The Addams Family musical, one song from the Japanese Wicked, and four translations of "Do You Hear the People Sing?"

same here. There’s this song I like that’s in Brazilian Portuguese that I find really catchy. Though I speak Spanish so I understand some of the lyrics.

Whenever I see Romeo in red and Juliet in blue, I go "wrong colors!"

The Capulets are supposed to be red and the Montagues are supposed to be blue.
