Alright, confess odd things.

For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

Oh good, I'm not the only one.

And on that note, I really have to hold my metaphorical tongue when people don't bother to get better with their grammatical structure.

[up] Ooh, same here.

I think Call Of Duty trailers have some cool, albeit cheesy for some, quotes.

"A lie is a lie. Just because they write it down and call it history doesn't make it the truth. We live in a world where seeing is not believing, where only a few know what really happened. We live in a world where everything you know is wrong."

From Modern Warfare 3:

""It doesn't take the most powerful nations on Earth to create the next global conflict. Just the will of a single man."

I decide which fanfics to read by the grammar in their summaries. If they have no concept of capitalization, I back away slowly.

I am sick and tired of Gangnam Style. Every other place on Earth, and at least five more in Mars have discovered that the song is last Saturday's joke, but NOOO, I have to live in the country that can't. Fucking. Move. ON.

Also, I have a theory the BEP song Meet Me Halfway was rapped by a single computer, and a slightly human girl, who fell in love with the computer. The girl is in waiting for the computer to become human, and with each passing verse, the computer is slowly reaching that goal. Sue me.

When chatting online, I have the uncanny habit of changing the topic to me, and an incident that is vaguely connected the topic brought up by the other guy.

Thanks to the stupidity of my classmates, I must describe my sembreak in 2000 words, and I can only describe it in four; Munch, slam, click, splurge.

What's odd about that? I thought that was normal. Not that I expect perfect, native-speaker-like grammar from every person (who is not a native speaker), that would be very hypocritical, after all, but there should be a certain minumum of effort in it.

Every other place on Earth, and at least five more in Mars have discovered that the song is last Saturday's joke
Quite literally in my case. Last Saturday, I heard it for the very first time.

Depends how you define 'conservative'. If you're saying you want to ramp up military spending to a million percent of GDP, then yes. Its odd for your age. If you're saying you want to slightly deregulate key industries to ensure that business is not burdened by state intervention, then that's perfectly fine.

The man(?) could have socially conservative leadings. Oppose euthanasia, abortion; oppose the redefining of marriage as more then the union of one man and one woman; support the continued prohibition of recreational or medically non-beneficial drugs; oppose pornography and prostitution. polygamy, gay adoption, premarital sex ect.

Yeah, it's more like socially conservative. Hmmm...out of the issues suggested, there's really only one thing I can say I agree on, possibly two things. I guess that if I'm conservative, I'm bad at it.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm male.

Your beliefs are your beliefs, your opinions your opinions, don't let folk tell you that you're wrong as long as you are acting on the best possible information. Being atypical is hardly a crime in and of itself.

Of course, that advice only works if you're willing to accept that you could be working from faulty information.
